"Overall enjoyed our stay. The staff was extremely friendly. The location is located right on the outskirts of Palermo. It was quiet, it almost meant at least a 15 minute walk to anything. They have a coffee machine to use in the morning free of charge. The rooms were clean but very basic. "

"Wonderful oceanfront location. Walking distance to shops and local restaurants. Friendly checkin and room staff. Breakfast buffet and other menu choices at the restaurant were fantastic. Restraunt and bar manager was lovely and patient with my limited Italian language skills. Looking forward to returning to the Splendid. "

"We got a quiet room on the 9th floor with a great view of the ocean. Rooms could use some updating to meet the 4 stars the hotel claims itself to be but it was comfortable for our needs and the bathroom was decent. Their continental breakfast was a highlight and had a variety of pastries, savory buns, some hot items like scrambled eggs and bacon, and a good selection of grains, fruits and drinks. The dining room was located on the top floor with a panoramic view of Palermo. There’s a rooftop swimming pool but wasn’t open in March. Location may not be ideal for travelers on foot but there’s free parking for the car inclined. I would definitely stay here again."
