"The villa itself is stunning, lovely pool area and grounds and staff really great, friendly and helpful. The apartment we stayed in was okay - we knew it was in the basement of the villa, but it was very dark. We had booked it as it came with a kitchen and perhaps an oversight on our part but there was no oven, the fridge was tiny and a real lack of cooking utensils, it was very basic and meant we did not really cook while staying despite having wanted to. "Friendly meeting at reception, comfortable room, good air con, breakfast was very good, plenty choice. The pool area is well looked after and the pool although quite small is perfect for a cooling dip. All service was excellent, breakfast staff all friendly and helpful. Short walk to the city walls and some nice restaurants within 15 minutes walk. Carbone was our favourite. I definitely recommend this hotel."
