The air conditioning does not work properly, it took a full day to barely start feeling the room cooldown and then suddenly just stopped; almost unbearable. Location is good but definitely would not be staying here if/when coming back."

"Traditional resort hotel, the Bella Riviera is very central in Viareggio, on the main beach road. As a solo traveller I usually have to tolerate a windowless room behind stairs, so I was delighted to be given a lovely room at the front with a balcony and a sea view. The daily cleaning kept the room and en-suite spotless, the breakfast was a varied buffet and the staff were friendly and helpful. My only complaint was the noisy air con. "
