"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful stay at Emerald Shores! The cabin was very clean, beautifully decorated, and had such unique and charming furnishings. There was plenty of space for our family of five to relax comfortably.The location was fantastic—close to both Empire and Glen Arbor, with Little Glen Lake right across the road. The lake was one of our favorite parts of the trip! It has a huge shallow area that was perfect for the kids to swim and play.We also really enjoyed the back deck and fire feature, which made for relaxing evenings after a day of exploring. The neighbors were friendly and welcoming as well. Overall, this was a beautiful, comfortable place to stay and a great home base for enjoying the Sleeping Bear Dunes area. We would definitely stay here again"
Dune Path - with Waterfront!

"The Dune Path home in Empire MI was beautiful, fully stocked with Linens, dishes, paper towels, TP, Kleenex, Plastic wrap, foil, Plastic bags, Spices, Ice maker on refrigerator, Maps of the town, Toys for kids and adults, extra blankets and Beach towels. Lots of room for everyone to spread out. Huge shower and soaking tub (grand kids loved it), Private Beach was great and extra nice with Kayaks, canoe, shuffle board and provided life jackets. The lake is very shallow which made it very nice for the littles to play in safely and very enjoyable walks for the adults. The area is absolutely gorgeous. The house backs right up to Sleeping Bear National Park and is in the middle of a forested area. At night it's so relaxing. And finding all the hidden Petoskey stones in the house was fun for everyone. We're already planning to return for our family gathering for next year."

"The caboose is such a fun, unique experience. It was very clean, spacious, and the upper seating was perfect for reading. We arrive after dark and found it difficult to find, however the host communicated with us extremely quickly on a Saturday night. Highly recommend."

"The home was wonderful, I have been coming up to Glen Arbor for 30 years and this has been the cleanest and most comfortable home in all my visit. The listing on the amount of bedrooms was misleading, 4 beds out in a separate building was not I was looking for my children. For 16,000 I would thought it would have been correctly listed. I had to contact Rick a couple of times and he was wonderful and acted quickly to resolve the small issues we had. Rick was great."

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved staying on Little Glen Lake. The cons for little Glen shores rental: it is HOT upstairs. There is no central air and fans don’t help much. During our stay, the trash was not picked up as scheduled so the property managers came to empty some of it. The house is on busy M22 so be careful crossing to the lake/dock as it’s 40 mph speed limit and cars go faster than that. The lake is shallow (waist deep 200 yards out) so if you bring a boat, you may have to moor out a ways. There is no dedicated mooring buoy for the rental, so BYO or have a boat rental company place one if you rent a boat. I recommend getting to the place and taking inventory before getting groceries as previous renters have left plenty of spices/olive oil. The pros: such a fabulous location. Glen arbor is a five minute drive, sleeping bear dunes is close, Leland is close. Suttons bay and Hop lot are relatively close. St Ambrose cellars is 25 minutes. TC airport and downtown TC and casino are 35-40 minutes. The water is shallow and easily accessible across M22. The fire pit with all the chairs around it is amazing for s’mores. There is washing machine and dryer. The place fit the family comfortably. I would definitely rent this place and from “Up North rentals” again. We had a fabulous time!"
