It was a pleasure to see the history of Bulembu in the museum and to explore the nearby waterfalls and walking trails. The lodge and staff made for one of our best stays in southern Africa and we have been all over. This is a must-go, you will not regret your stay here if you're looking for a quiet stay nestled in nature and amongst people doing incredible work in the community"

"We had a terrible experience. The hotel looks nothing like it does o the site. It’s completely run down. The hospitality is poor. Uncomfortable beds. The rooms and toilets are dirty. The fridge looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in months, there were dead cockroaches in the fridge. Instead of apologising the receptionist made excuses about how the pictures on the site are old pictures and that the place is being renovated, when we asked her why the misrepresentation because if there were accurate images it’d allow us a fair chance to choose whether or not to book the place, she responded and sarcastically said, “where would you guys go”. We moved out before completing our two day stay there. I wouldn’t recommend that spot to anyone. Furthermore when you book it says there’s free breakfast included. There’s nothing like that!"
