About this property
Large clean home in Pine Bush near Wallkill Bethel, Watchtower Farm, Ny
To ensure the house is ready, all reservations must be made at least 8 full days in advance. Any reservations made with less than 7 days notice are subject to cancelation, unless prior permission is granted from the owners.
Our house is 1 hour & 20 minutes from both Patterson and Warwick, NY. Only 7 minutes from Wallkill. Please take 5 min to read the entire listing, most of your questions will be answered. If you do have any questions please don't hesitate to ask. We also have a few rental and resort options in Dominican Republic.
Since we are speending extra time to clean and sanitize the house, we will no longer allow a guest to check in on the same day that a guest is checking out, we will allow an entire day for the cleaning to ensure nothing is missed.
This is a clean 2 story colonial set back off the street for lots of privacy. We do have neighbors on both sides, but not close enough to look in the windows.
One reason that it is so clean is we do not wear shoes in the house or allow pets in the house. However in June of 2019 we did get 2 parakeets that are in the basement apartment. We request you wear house shoes or slippers in the home and smoking is not alowed on the property, NOT EVEN IN YOUR PARKED CAR! This way others with alergies or chemicial sensitivities will be comfortable in our home.
When you walk in our door you will come in to a large entry with a 1/2 bath, in front of you is the huge kitchen, on your left there is the oversized dining room with 5 windows and comfortable living room with 2 sofas, an arm chair, telephone and a wood burning stove. Upstairs you will find a small bedroom with a double bed on the right side of the hall. On the left side of the hall there is a large bedeoom with 4 twin beds and 3 windows to let in the morning sun and warmth. The washer and dryer are also off the upstairs hall, so there is no need to carry your dirty cloths downstairs. Across from the laundry is the linen closet with a iron and a small ironing board. At the end of the spacious hall is the square master bedroom with a cathedral ceiling, queen bed, 4 windows and 2 large dressers. The master bathroom has a vaulted ceiling, skylight, shower, 2 person jetted tub, 2 sinks, walk in closet and a toilet in it's own little room for added privacy.
There are a total of 6 beds that can accommodate 8 people and we can provide air mattresses for the other 4 guests if they are needed. Pictures are on the site to show some posibities of where you can put the air mattresses.
Outside there are lots of trees, wildlife and 2 fire pits, a small round one & a propane fire pit on the deck. IMPORTANT NOTICE! The fire pit may be closed if the fire danger is high, please inquire if in doubt. On the back deck there are 2 chairs and the propane fire pit. Just off the deck is where the large grill is located. Natural landscaping means the native anmials feel right at home in our yard.
During various times of the year we will be staying in the basement apartment to do needed repair and maintenance on the house or just to ensure the high quality control of our cleaning standards. We have a separate entrance and in most case are totally invisible to our guests, however if you need anything we are easily accessible. Please send a note with your reservation if you would like to know if we have a trip planned during your stay.

I liked the large rug in the entry that made it easy to remove your shoes.
Beautiful hardwood 1st floor, upstairs was all nice carpet.Plenty of dishes, pots, pans
I enjoyed the random spices and other kitchen items. The grill and deck chairs allowed us to cook a fun supper out back. We only needed help with a couple things and the owners were very friendly and fast. They had dry. There were many extra towels and blankets and sheets firewood so we had a pit fire
Great house! Such a beautiful location. Will definitely be looking to stay again if we’re visiting NY. Our host was wonderful and accommodating. So nice to see the local wildlife and listen to all the sounds.
This is a really nice home. We enjoyed our stay here and the quickness of response. The bed was AMAZING! Easy access to Wallkill and Pine Bush kingdom hall. Wi-fi provided along with blu-ray player and games for children. Everything was provided for a comfortable stay.
We stayed for 3 nights over New Year's. The house was spacious and clean. Very comfortable couches, Smart TV (great for watching Netflix) and a great wood stove. Nice hiking in the area, grocery store close by. We had a group of 9 people and did not feel cramped in the house. The area is very quiet and peaceful, great for a getaway and easily to get to from NYC.

Very Clean & Cozy
We had an amazing 7 day stay! The house was perfect for my family. Enjoyed the open space the house had. This house is great for a large group and spend time together. The pictures don't do the house justice, it is so much better in person. I will be coming again soon!
Thank you so much Byron

Big, clean, nice place
As advertised, the house is large and clean. The master bath is grand, with a walkin closet.
Bring hangers. Comfy beds. Creaky floor. Great location and yard. Owner gave good customer service.
We booked this home to go to Legoland and Kartrite and it was not too far from either. I had no idea just how beautiful New York was! We got to see all of nature at this home, lots of beautiful deer, birds, and even a black bear which is a memory we all will hold forever! There was ample space in the home and plenty of seating for eating and playing games. Thank you for our stay!

Perfect place to stay for visiting all the Bethels
It was as lovely as all the pictures portray. The accommodations were super clean, comfy, and just "down the road" from the Wallkill Bethel. We had 6 in our party, but could see how 12 people could share this house without issue. It was nice to rent from a brother and we have passed this property's info to others in our congregation. If we have the opportunity to do so, we would stay here again. Thanks for all the clear communication, Bryon. :)

Relaxing Stay for Bethel Visit
We enjoyed our stay at this house while we toured Patterson Bethel and Walkill Bethel. The home was spacious and clean. We had 5 adults and one child, and we moved around very easily. Brian was easy to get up with, and responded well to any concerns we had. Photos are very accurate of the home, and the kitchen setup was great! I would recommend a larger TV in the living room, and updating the mattresses soon. There was no issue in getting our deposit back. Thank you for great stay!

Spacious clean comfortable stay
We really enjoyed our stay in this very clean, roomy cozy home as we visited Warwick Wallkill Patterson and The Met. Each day we came home to very comfortable surroundings. We also enjoyed meals cooked at home which helped with our expenses.
Only thing we would have enjoyed having the TV in the livingroom where there are very comfortable couches and recliners. After a long day traveling touring and cooking it would have been nice to all sit and watch TV before retiring for the night.
We appreciate Brian and Celine being very hospitable and communicated with us promptly
The home is as the listing reads... I spent a lot of time in the well equipped kitchen, which was open and had plenty of counter space.
The dining room was large enough for 14+ guests. I know no one ever said
washing the dishes is enjoyable... but the open garden window allowed a beautiful nature backdrop!! Wood stove offered ambiance and kept the home warm.

convenient and comfortable getaway
The house is very large an accommodating. It is very close to the farm, it took us about 5 minutes to get there. Also close to Patterson, a 45 minute drive. It has a lot of amenities to make your stay comfortable. It was our first experience with VRBO and we definitely liked it. The pantry and kitchen being stocked with the small stuff like coffee, ketchup, mustard, mayo, sugar, tea bags, and so on made the first morning stress free. The downstairs half bathroom is great! We are already planning our next stay. There is a lot of sightseeing to do we plan on doing next time.

Nice, clean home in the country
This house became our home away from home for 10 days as we visited the three Bethel locations and surrounding areas. We love to travel with friends and there was room for all of us. Due to food allergies in my family, I spend plenty of time in the kitchen... there was lots of room for me to keep our food prep seperate, and it was really nice to have a meal ready in the slow cooker after a long day out & about. We also found a gluten free restaurant, Aroma Thyme, that was outstanding. The yard was huge with room for kids to run and play, we saw such a variety of wildlife too. There was a lot of fun local stuff to do, Mohonk Preserve was a highlight. Also near the quirky college town of New Paltz, where we even found a gluten-free bakery. We hope we can come back and stay in this house again!

Bravo to great owners!
We arrived after a long drive to this beautiful, clean home. Everything was exactly as described on the website. We cooked several meals and had everything we need, even enough spices to make an impromptu salad dressing! The house is clean. Completely uncluttered. Any time I had to ask Bryon or Jeff a question, they responded if not immediately, within an hour or so. There were plenty of linens and the beds were so comfortable! The sheets were a high quality too! The owners have thought of every possible thing you may need to make your stay enjoyable. We enjoyed sitting on the porch in the evening. We loved watching the squirrels and the rabbits. We traveled to Wallkill (right down the road) and Patterson. We drove into the city for a Met tour. Bryon was so helpful to this country girl, helping navigate the most relaxing way into the city. We went to Sam's Point and hiked to the ice caves. My husband wandered around in the woods behind the house too. It was nice there were local caretakers that never seemed inconvenienced when asked questions. All in all, it was a perfect vacation and we look forward to staying here again.
Stayed here for a few days with friends and had a wonderful time! The house was clean, spacious, and peaceful -- we especially enjoyed relaxing on the porch and in the backyard. The surrounding area is very beautiful, especially in the fall, and the house is a short, scenic drive to Minnewaska State Park, where we went hiking. Brian was very accommodating and gracious and made sure we had everything we needed. There were a good amount of ladybugs in the house, but they mostly kept to themselves, and we and Brian vacuumed some of them up as well. Definitely recommend this place and would stay here again in the future!
