"DWELL was a comfortable and well equipped place. The unit is set back from the quiet street, and has a great patio.Chad was easy to communicate with.I really appreciate the simple, common-sense house rules and check in/out instructions. Great that the unit is self-sufficient and it was interesting to read about that aspect of it.Nice location near Woodstock, Reed, Sellwood and various parks."

"Scot was very communicative, had great suggestions about how to spend your time. The place was clean, quiet and private with a little outdoor seat to enjoy your coffee or evening beer. Walking distance to sellwood downtown area, and the river front park. A nice park for kids and soccer right next door.Definitely would recommend."

"Had a great time. Coffee pot should be cleaned the reservoir is quite filthy and several mornings the ants were out in force despite having cleaned kitchen night before. But it was comfortable and close so thank again for allowing me the opportunity to rent the space"

"We really enjoyed our stay at Palais de Leon and had a wonderful family reunion here. It’s a beautiful, truly one-of-a-kind property with plenty of space for a large group. The pool and riverfront are amazing, beds were comfortable, and the home is full of unique rooms, antiques and amenities. We especially enjoyed the theater, paddleboards/kayaks and incredible liquor collection. The team also made check-in easy and provided a helpful tour.That said, a few things fell short of what we’d expect from a luxury rental at this price point. The hot tub wasn’t working when we arrived. Technicians came during our stay, but with no notice or updates, and we only discovered it was working shortly before leaving.The kitchen could also use updating. Cookware was old/mismatched and limited for a large group, the oven took over an hour to preheat, and the dishwashers didn’t clean well.Having to manually lock/check 20 exterior doors was cumbersome, and an electronic keypad would be a welcome upgrade.Finally, the advertised EV chargers are older Tesla chargers configured for Tesla vehicles only. Our Cadillac EV wouldn’t charge even with an adapter, so a universal charger would be helpful.Overall, we had a great stay and made wonderful family memories. With a few updates, this could truly be a 5-star luxury experience."

"A comfortable and spacious home to stay in while exploring Portland. It's nestled in a quiet neighborhood, offering a peaceful oasis after a busy day of sightseeing. The backyard is a great place to gather for a BBQ or have a quiet breakfast. It's only about 10-15 minutes by car to the various sites around Portland."
