"Costa Rica house What can I say about this stunning house. We have wintered away 13 years, all different places and I can say this was my favorite home. So warm and welcome. The grounds are breathtaking and the gardens pristine. The garden folks come every Monday and are such lovely folks. The grounds, flowers, hidden spots pure magic. We stayed 2 months and have had everything we could possibly need. Mark and Rolando were so receptive to any questions about house, area in general , great ideas for where to eat. I would be remiss if I didn’t remind you of biodiversity.,If you want to experience howler monkeys at 5:00 every morning, this is your place. It’s quit thrilling and probably once in a lifetime. Welcome your house geckos, they eat bugs and I used the leaf blower ( thanks Mark!) to blow out the floors through the French doors. 3 sets facing the ocean. Geckos are messy but good luck. Ceiling fans inside and out kept things cool. The pool in the afternoon and beach walking was a welcome site. Thank you Mark, Gary the gecko, all the magic birds ..Ethan the ever present roadside hawk and lovely afternoon rains. Really she deserves 10 stars! PS. Also saw whales. "We absolutely loved the eight days we spent at this incredible house. Our hosts were very welcoming and met us when we arrived. I had a few questions while we were there and got responses almost instantly.The house was spotless. There wasn't anything that we needed that they didn't have. The pool was fantastic. There wasn't a single day that we didn't swim or chill in the pool. We enjoyed seeing the toucans and other local birds that came around every morning and evening. We even had a coati come visit a couple of the days. One evening we could see howler monkeys in a tree down below the house. Not only was the house great, but the entire area was wonderful. The people were friendly and welcoming. If you're an animal lover, I suggest a tour of Hacienda Baru, which is about 20 minutes away. We used Freddy Cascante. It was our favorite activity for the two weeks we spent in Costa Rica.We wouldn't hesitate to come back to this beautiful property. It's easy to feel the pura vida spirit here."

""A Hidden Gem with Breathtaking Ocean Views"Our group of 10 had an amazing stay at this Ballena Bliss luxury villa. The spacious layout, including an adjoining casita, provided plenty of room, and the second-floor balcony was a perfect spot to enjoy true Costa Rica jungle sounds and views of the Pacific. We loved gathering and relaxing by the pool, with a bar conveniently connected to the kitchen.The location was perfect—90 minutes from Manuel Antonio National Park, 50 minutes from Nauyaca Waterfalls, 30 min from Uvita Zipline and just 5 minutes to the secluded Playa Piñuela. The property manager was excellent with communication and gave great local recommendations.A fantastic spot for both relaxation and adventure!"

"We were actually the first guests to stay at this property, and everything exceeded our expectations. The house is very spacious, clean, and the ocean view is a beautiful bonus. It’s about a 10-minute drive to Uvita, making the location very convenient.To reach the house, you do need to go through a short rough road, around 150 meters. While it's not very long, a 4x4 vehicle is recommended. We had a Toyota Corolla and managed just fine, except during one rainy night when the car couldn’t make it up the hill, and we had to walk to the property. That was the only minor inconvenience.The outdoor area of the property is still under construction, and the hosts mentioned that they plan to build a pool soon, which will be a great addition. We’re definitely looking forward to coming back to this place in the future!"
