"It has been a long time since I've had such an enjoyable time staying in a hotel and will recommend this place to everyone heading to the Mount Rushmore area. All staff was very helpful and kind. The room was very clean. The beds/pillows were comfortable. The rooms were quiet - we didn't hear any neighbors at all. The bathroom was clean and the shower head was awesome. It was so nice to have the full size pumps of shampoo/conditioner and body wash, but it was really awesome to have the hand soap and lotion. All Dove products. We loved having the convenience of the kitchen. Everything was really clean. The breakfast was your usual hotel breakfast PLUS. They had actual fresh berries (instead of frozen or just having bananas and apples - they have those too.) There were so many choices and everything was prepared well. We stayed here 5 days and they had some different things each day. We did not know about the mid-week social hours and loved them. Drinks and food (we didn't have to buy dinner 2 days) were awesome and everything was prepared well. They have free washer/dryers, which we utilized. The pool area is very small and was very full, so we didn't end up going. That was the only downer. Other than that, I would 100% stay here again. We were sad to have to check out and move to the next destination/hotel."

"We stayed at this hotel for five nights and unfortunately had several issues that were never resolved during our stay. The biggest problem was the lack of Wi-Fi in our room. We reported it every day by calling, stopping at the front desk, and even filling out a maintenance request form. Each time we were assured that someone would take care of it, but nothing was ever fixed. In today's world, reliable internet access is as essential as electricity and running water, so this was a major inconvenience. The bathroom exhaust fan also did not work at all. Every shower turned the bathroom into a sauna, and the excess humidity lingered for quite a while. Housekeeping was another disappointment. Upon arrival, there was visible dust on the lampshades, crumbs and pieces of popcorn on the floor, and food left behind in the refrigerator from a previous guest. The staff members were friendly and polite whenever we spoke with them, which we appreciated. The room itself was spacious, the air conditioning worked very well, and we liked having an exterior door with easy access to the parking area. Overall, the room had potential, but the unresolved maintenance issues and lack of cleanliness made for a frustrating stay."
