"Hôtel d’Europe is a beautiful, historic property ideally located within the walls of Avignon, just steps from the Palais des Papes. The location is ideal for exploring the city, with everything easily accessible on foot. The staff truly stands out. Every interaction was warm, attentive, and welcoming, creating a level of service that elevates the entire experience. The hotel embraces its history, offering classic charm while still providing thoughtful modern comforts. While I did not dine at the Michelin-starred restaurant, having that level of dining available on-site is a great feature for guests who want that experience without leaving the hotel. The bar is excellent and was a highlight of the stay. The bartenders were engaging, skilled, and clearly take pride in what they do. The rooms are well-appointed with all the expected amenities—coffee, tea, robes, and a full range of bath essentials—making for a comfortable stay. The only drawback was a significant issue on the first night: there was no hot water, and the shower was freezing. After a long day of travel, this was not a great way to start the stay. Overall, Hôtel d’Europe delivers on service, location, and atmosphere, with one notable issue that impacted the first impression."

"Weirdest hotel layout ever. No sockets to charge my phone in the entire room. No air conditioning. No WiFi. Avignon is great but there’s probably better deals in the area. They are wearing suits but it slept like a French motel 6. "

"This villa was exceptional. The views are unbeatable. Communication with the owner was easy and quick even from Canada. Being early in the season there were a couple of issues that need to be addressed. 2 of the showers leaked and the Nespresso machine had not been cleaned in a very long time. Instructions on parking prior to arrival would be a great asset as it is a little tricky with 2 gates and small roads. It was a great place to stay for 6 people as we all had our own rooms and bathrooms. Would definitely recommend and would stay there again."

"Great choice of hotel. It is located in the very center of Avignon where bars and restaurants are. It is a pleasant walk to explore the city and its heritage. Staffs are very nice, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included. We stayed in March. The hotel rate is exceptionally good for what we got. "

"A great hotel with all the charm of Provence. We stayed for 3 nights and loved it. Rooms are charming and romantic. Restaurant was very good and reasonably priced for dinner. The outdoor pool was a real gem -- clean water, peaceful setting, surrounded by beautiful old trees. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great price for a hotel that I will remember!"
