Pet Friendly, Private Home in The BlueRidge Mountains

"Wonderful house in a very private location. We felt like we were all alone in the mountains. Plenty of space (each of the 3 bedrooms had their own bathrooms). Very well provisioned (games, TV's, spices, coffee, and more). We loved the large deck and the great fire pit. Roads are all paved up to a short driveway. Cell service is sketchy (thus the privacy). I was able to get 1 bar on the deck but nothing in house. We were here in mid-October and took NC215 up to the Blue Ridge Parkway. The fall colors were spectacular. There is a nice tap room at the corner of NC215 and Hwy 64 with a food truck. They had music the night we went which was great. The host was very quick to respond to questions."

"Wonderful location , close to bevard that has a great small town feel with art and music abound. Also outside downtown is typical stores for easy shops of groceries even Addis . There is easy access to wonderful Mtn roads. We enjoyed going to amazing waterfalls, so many great path ways that can keep you off the blue ridge park way on peak weekends for the most part. Host was great , house was larger then I expected , well equipped and in a quiet neighborhood. Streaming tv , board games and video game boxes. The old grand station restaurant 7 miles away was great make dinner reservations very relaxed great food big portions."

"What a wonderful trip we had at Maggie’s Farm! The home was exceptionally clean, well stocked and was perfectly spacious for our family of 6. The creek, firepit and trout pond entertained my family for hours. My kids adored feeding the cows across the street, even in the pouring rain! The home is conveniently located to lots of hiking, waterfalls and downtown Brevard. Mark and Jacquie were so accommodating and kind, and made sure we had a comfortable stay despite a tropical storm that rolled through. We would absolutely stay here again!"

"We had a great, relaxing time. The only thing I would suggest would be to have a tv with a dvd player. Dvd's on hand for rainy days. We were there during the hurricane and when its pouring down rain for 24hrs, there is nothing to do. Other than that, it was a great weekend!"
