Visit Asheville, Hendersonville, Greenville, or Waynesville, all less than an hour’s drive away. Hike, bike, swim, kayak or just relax. This home offers all the creature comforts you expect and access to more activities than you’ll have time for. You’ll just have to come back next year! Most dogs are welcome. We have been vacationing in Brevard for the last 3 years. Acorn’s retreat had the best view we have had. The house was big and the beds were comfortable. Everything we needed was there. We had multiple deer visits and white squirrel sightings. The hosts were quick to respond when we had a question. We totally enjoyed our stay.

The property exceeded all expectations, and the owners were so easy to communicate with. Probably the nicest property we've ever rented, and the neighborhood is so beautiful, and quiet.

We loved the house, the view, the deer on the property, the accommodations, the communication with the owners, the well stocked kitchen and paper good supplies, and the Primo brand water system, We were too busy so we did not use the hot tub. It rained a lot the week we were there, so we were thankful to have the use of the garage. This was the best rental we have ever rented from so far. We were very pleased we rented it. Our daughter liked the 2 bedrooms downstairs for her family.

We’re repeat guests at this property and would not want to stay anywhere else now that we’ve found this place! It is so clean and the amenities are perfect. It’s very easy to feel at home here so you can just relax and enjoy the outdoors. We love the peace and privacy of this property while still being close to town/entertainment, breweries, grocery stores, bike trails, etc.

Family Getaway

This is our 2nd visit to Acorn’s Retreat and it was awesome! The views are gorgeous. The kitchen is wonderful for family dinners. There is so much to do at this beautiful property and around the area. We can’t wait to book again!

Such a wonderful retreat

We have stayed here for many years and the home is always, consistently a beautiful place to relax and unplug. There’s a great kitchen, a hot tub, a wood burning fireplace, and that spectacular view of the mountains. We always feel at home here.

Holiday week at Acorns Retreat

We had an incredible week staying at Acorn's Retreat. The house is in a fantastic location, making it easy to explore the area. Great home to relax after a long day of local hiking. A wonderful stay after The Bard in Western North Carolina had experienced a horrible time

Had a great stay at a great location just outside of Brevard North Carolina with wonderful Mountain views. Host worked with us after Hurricane Helene caused problems in Western North Carolina to make our stay great. Brevard had just opened up and we had a great time in the city.

Perfect multi-generation vacation!

Our family was lucky enough to spend 2 amazing weeks at Acorn's retreat! It's a perfect vrbo property... super clean, super comfortable, super stocked. Amazing views and very helpful hosts. The upstairs/downstairs layout is very comfortable and allowed everyone to have their own space. I wouldn't change a thing and can't wait to go back!

We had a fantastic, peaceful stay at Acorn's Retreat. The home is beautifully designed and maintained and the views are amazing. The kitchen is gorgeous and well-outfitted for all types of cooking. We loved all the art, and the beds are pretty and comfortable. The primary shower is luxurious and spacious! After long hikes each day, we rested our muscles in the pristine hot tub - just perfect. Juan and Carmen were responsive, kind and flexible. We hope to come back again!

Peaceful mountain getaway

We have stayed at this property many times over several years and return again for the peaceful setting with beautiful views of Pisgah Mountains. We love the privacy and the relaxed vibe of the neighborhood that is easy access to Brevard, Hendersonville, Dupont Forest, Davidson River areas. The owners are very gracious hosts who maintain a clean and safe property. Wished we could have stayed longer!

Acorn’s Retreat is a beautifully appointed, comfortable, spacious mountain home. The views are beautiful from the back deck, with glorious sunsets. The kitchen has everything you could possibly want - the bedrooms are comfortable with lovely linens - and the hosts were wonderfully communicative. Highly recommend! Ten out of ten!

Acorn’s Retreat is a beautiful home in one of the best neighborhoods that offers seclusion and privacy while only about 15 minutes from Downtown Brevard! The owners ensure you are well cared for by thinking of all the creature comforts making you feel welcomed and at ease! My family and I do not typically stay at the same location more than once, but because our first stay was so amazing, we rebooked and had an equally amazing stay this year!

The property and surrounding area is absolutely stunning. Our trip consisted of enjoying the gorgeous mountain weather on a different hike or two with the dogs each day. This was more than enough space for us (no complaints!). The design of the outdoor space and the interior layout is well thought-out. You have ample elbow room that makes for modern usage, but the details in both the interior and exterior design give the property a cozy, private, personal feel. It was clean and welcoming. We found the furniture to be very comfortable. We did not lack for anything. Every kitchen appliance you could ever need was provided. Check-in was extremely easy. Communication with the owner was always clear, friendly and helpful. As we had the pups with us, it was nice to be able to access a vacuum or cleaning supplies for dirt tracked in. Most rentals keep that stuff under lock and key. Carmen and Juan made us feel completely taken care of and are very generous with sharing the amenities of their beautiful property. Thank you so very much for a marvelous stay!

Beautiful mountain vistas

Beautiful mountain vistas through a bank of windows were your reward for making the long, steep, winding drive from the road through the neighborhood. The house is well kept, spacious and peaceful. The kitchen is well equipped. The wildlife was entertaining, and the flowing artificial creek was charming. Plenty of towels, movies and puzzles provided.

Perfect mountain getaway for our family!

Juan and Carmen’s home was beautiful, comfortable and so welcoming. From the well equipped and spacious kitchen to the magnificent views looking out from large glass windows along one side of the house, everything was perfect!
