Eagles Nest, Creekside with Firepit

  • Situated on a knoll above a mountain stream this pet-friendly log cabin in the mountains with a fire pit, covered decks, linens provided, and professionally cleaned. Enjoy nature, dip your toes in the ice-cold creek that runs year-round. Quality appliances and good spaces to enjoy with friends and family. Rent the sister cabin across the creek and down the street if you need more room. Save money, stay at a vacation rental home that you can enjoy for two nights or a week. This cabin and its furnishings have been lovingly curated by the owner and you will enjoy the area, we are sure you will return year after year. Watch for deer and white squirrels in the yard too! The pet fee is $100 per pet. Firewood is not provided.

    The Host
    As your host during your stay, White Squirrel Realty is easy to reach by text or phone. Each home is supplied with fresh, professionally laundered linens and supplies to make your stay comfortable. Our cleaning crew is local, paid a living wage, and trained so that you can enjoy your vacation in a clean home.
    Confirmed guests will receive a text message to the cell phone on the reservation with a link to the essential information you need to enjoy your stay like the door code and the directions. The digital guidebook has information on the property and also on the area including restaurants, grocery stores, and popular destinations. Guests can go straight to the property at check-in time.

Loved it!

Perfect location, not far from town or the many hikes/waterfalls we went on and saw. The size of the cabin was perfect for the 4 of us. Sat outside a lot on the porches, so relaxing listening to the creek at the edge of the property. We’ll definitely be back!

Cute and cozy mountain cabin

The cabin is cute and how you would expect a cabin in the mountains to look. Huge plus: the cleanliness of the cabin and the area surrounding property. The location is perfect for little kids to run and play near the water. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider staying there again.

My wife and I needed a getaway. This cabin was perfect in every way. Very quiet, except the sound of the stream. Exceptionally clean and very well maintained. We will be back.

This was a great location for a longer stay. We really loved the fire pit and had leftover wood from the prior guest so we were able to leave some behind. There was a lot of space both inside and outside.

We had such a lovely visit! My twin 11 year olds played in the brook that ran on the property and loved every minute! We enjoyed fires at night & the proximity to everything was awesome!

Eagles Nest

We had a wonderful Girl's Trip at Eagles Nest Cabin! The location on a babbling creek could not have been more peaceful. The cabin was extremely clean and well stocked. All of the beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed the down comforters as an extra touch. We will certainly be back to the Eagles Nest soon!

Fantastic!

We had such a wonderful time at Eagles nest over Labor Day weekend! My Twin Boys were able to play in the Craig and we enjoyed the fire pit every night. What a lovely experience!

Fantastic Stay!

This is such a great property. The cabin is stacked with all of the amenities we needed. We really enjoyed the location overlooking Turkey Creek and beautiful Pisgah Forest. It is ideally located with many activities close by, as well as just a jump to the Blue Ridge Parkway. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and we enjoyed our entire holiday stay without a hitch. We'll definitely be back!

Everything was excellent. The cabin, exterior space, the instructions to check in, access the property, check out, proximity to all the stores you need for your stay. The pictures of the exterior don’t do the area justice. It’s a lot better than the pictures.
