"This is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been. Every single detail has been well thought out. You are in the middle of a magical place with magical people and the thoughtfulness they have put into every single detail is unmatched. The food is excellent. The service is 10 out of 10. "The property is clean and well run, our apartment on the second floor (211) had afternoon sun and was great for a few days late summer sun. The apartments are comfortable, the bed and pillows were great and I slept well. Only negative would be they allow dogs and we had very noisy dogs above us who barked and howled all morning. Fortunately it was our last day but would be hard if that happened at the beginning. The check in was great and got asked where we would like to be located, I also requested keeping our room until 6pm as we had a late flight. We were charged €65 but it was definitely worth it as our flight wasn’t till 9pm. The walk to the beach was about 3 minutes and there is a handy supermarket just outside the complex. The pool was clean but a bit chilly - refreshing but it did take your breath away. The beach is beautiful and the sea was lovely and warm. The kitchen was well equipped, even providing cleaning equipment. The coffee machine was nice but we weren’t sure what pods it took - fortunately we could get them from the supermarket and the supermarket is open until 9pm. This isn’t a party place and it’s very peaceful in the evening although I can imagine it would be very noisy in peak holiday months. The balcony was narrow but long and accommodated the three of us comfortably. There is a handy drying rack for towels and swim stuff and an air conditioning unit which was a real bonus for the hot nights."

"This is a truly amazing place.Stunning house with excellent amenities in a unique environment.Four wonderful restaurants in walking distance. Ullastret itself is a gem of a place to walk around in, but it is also a very short and easy drive to excellent excursions including Greek and Roman ruins, beautiful beaches, and fun restaurants.Mark and Outi are fantastic hosts. Very welcoming, justifiably proud of their property and invested in ensuring that their guests have a most wonderful time.We were ten people for a week and I thoroughly recommend Mascaros for a great vacation."

"Der allgemeine Zustand des Hauses ist ok. (Abgesehen von der ganzen Dekoration, die viel zu viel ist).Ausstattung ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen.Die Bäder und die Küche sind renovierungsbedürftig. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr nett, beim persönlichen Empfang wurde ein riesiger Obstkorb bereitgestellt. Da das komplette Grundstück ringsum geschlossen ist, konnte unserer Hund den ganzen Tag einfach frei herumlaufen.Denn ganzen Tag über gibt es Möglichkeiten, sich in den Schatten zu setzen, die riesige Palme ist dafür bestens geeignet.Der Grill wurde von uns intensiv genutzt.Ein Pluspunkt ist in jedem Fall der Pool, der nach einer Woche komplett gereinigt wurde. Die Umgebung ist sehr ruhig, was nachts sehr angenehm ist."
