"We stayed for 5 nights and had a wonderful experience! Gary and James were very helpful and had tons of information about the area. Our room was very clean and I love that it was built in the 1800’s. We never had a day where we weren’t busy. We really enjoyed the breakfast and we walked to town almost everyday. "Such a beautiful property! Very quiet and peaceful! Spotlessly clean with many small touches for our comfort and enjoyment. Comfy beds, lots of fans and well-stocked kitchen, bathrooms and laundry.Loved the wooden screen doors that slammed shut behind you - reminded me of my childhood stays at our grandparents' cottage.Very thankful for wi-fi calling!Loved spending our mornings on the dock with the sunshine and our coffee warming us as we watched the mist rising on the pond & listened to the loons calling to each other. We fished from the dock every day, catching perch, bass and northern pike. Our sweet little southern daughter-in-law caught a huge bass!We used the campfire pit several times since there was an abundance of dry firewood provided for our use.Would love to stay here again if we're ever back in Maine! Blessings to Carolee and Dan for sharing this beautiful home wih us."
"A beautiful cabin surrounded in rich, forest with hiking trails. The property located is tucked away, which makes you feel secluded. Its an amazing and calm experience. The other campers were kind and said hello, when passing by. Fresh food markets nearby. Great nearby cities for more exploration. This was the best and safest experience in a cabin. The maintenance and upkeep is noticeable and I felt special staying in this cabin. This was an epic time away from home. Thank you. "

"We love the location and the lake front property was beautiful. Plenty of outdoor space to enjoy and the screened in porch was great. The inside of the house could have been cleaner. My baby is crawling and I felt bad for him crawling on the floors. It definitely was more of a “campy”experience. Communication was excellent and the owners were very nice. They left information about local wildlife and where to get lobster which we appreciated and utilized. Overall we enjoyed our stay. "
"What a perfect home! We loved all of the furniture, books, art and everything else that made it feel like home. The privacy of the space was so nice! Ina is a great host with exvellent communication. We highly recommend Youngs lobster pound. Ina provided us with a lobster pot and we cooked at home. Our only regret is not staying longer. "Well equipped cottage in quiet, convenient location. It is well situated to all of the most visited mid-coast spots, including Camden, Booth Bay Harbor, and Bar Harbor. Close by to Belfast with several shops, restaurants, and a large grocery store, as well as close to a large lobster pound. We especially enjoyed bringing back and cooking our own lobster and eating out under the large, covered porch. The host was very responsive to all requests.We try to get to Maine almost every year and this is just about as nice a spot as we have found."
