"The hotel staff were the best part of this old hotel. Rather old fashioned, other references talk about a pool? Despite the heat I saw nothing of this. Bathroom was clean but very very dated, everything worked although bathroom door did not shut properly. Breakfast was very basic but 24 hour help yourself affair, useful when coming in for a quick top up of coffee / water / juice. It was very noisy, mainly other guests, you could hear every little noise. I chose the hotel as it was roughly midway...

"We wish we could give 10 stars! This was one of the most amazing hotel experiences we have ever had across multiple trips to Europe. Not sure how we fell into this boutique gem but glad we did. Clean, well maintained, beautifully appointed, everything is modern and works as expected! The location is ideal to explore Pistoia. The train is a very easy 12 minute walk. "Absolutely beautiful property in an idyllic location surrounded by greenery. Staff were welcoming and helpful, breakfast was absolutely delicious and a real highlight each morning. The swimming pool area was lovely although watch out for mosquitoes! Would definitely return."
