"The check-in staff lady was helpful, pleasant, and friendly. The parking was convenient, well lit. Our room was dreadful. There was a horrible smell, so terribly bad that we had to open the window for ventilation. The smell was what seemed to be animal urine. We were hesitant to stay in the room, over night, but had no other choice as we were in town for ECU graduation. Due to arriving late on that Thursday night, and given our schedule, we did not immediately go to the room to put our belongings away. Otherwise, we would have requested another room or even requested the reservation fee to be reimbursed. We noticed at the corner of the room, at the end of the bed closest to the window was wet with potential urine or something that smelt awful. Upon check out, there was no greetings, which was acceptable, but no one asked how our stay was either. If we were asked how the stay was at that time, we would have been more than willing to share our experience and our discomfort."

"We had a great stay overall. The room was clean, and the staff were very kind. The gentleman at the check-in counter was especially professional and welcoming. The only small issue was that one of the extra sheets for the couch bed had a stain on it. Aside from that, everything was wonderful. We’ve had a few not-so-great experiences during past visits, but this time definitely restored our trust. We’re really glad we gave this hotel another chance, and we’ll be happy to stay again. Thank you!"
