My family and I booked at this hotel in December 2020 for a wedding inJuly 2022. Was told by hotel that they didn't take monies for rooms at time of booking. Received email in March 2022 that our accommodations could not be honored due to University of Pittsburgh had taken over the hotel. So never got chance to stay at hotel. Very disappointing

We got there at check-in and our room wasn't ready first off, we had to sit in the van for 30 mins in 85-degree heat. We go in to check in again and they won't take our payment of cash. The only other way to pay as we had a debit bank card which they didn't want to take but had no choice. We get to the room it was clean and nice. I look in the dishwasher for the dishes and there was a plastic cutting board melted to the element and was burning. They had to move us to another room which meant packing up our weeks' worth of stuff! The new room was smaller (4 people) it was dirty, floors were sticky, drains were clogged. I spent over an hour cleaning the room. We have a child with a compromised immune system and was having surgery the next day. It was very noisy with all the doors slamming. There was masked required but no one was wearing them. This was our 3rd stay here and the worse stay. We will not be going back. The front desk ladies were rude. Glad we got to leave early and go back home.

The studio suites are a great size and include everything you need. However the windows do not open at all making the room very stuffy. Im sure changes can essily be made to correct this.
