"Love staying at the Imperial Hotel , have stayed here before . It is a lovely hotel, historical. Food is great , breakfast buffet style with service. Evening menu's good selection, lovingly cooked and beautifully presented. A little pricey, but you get top quality for that. Bar prices are as expected ££. Can highly recommend the Devonshire cream tea, its delicious. The rooms , the decor and furnishings could do with a little attention, for example fraying carpet near bathroom door...

"A truly wonderful hotel that is right on the seafront. Great attentive staff, especially at breakfast. Nothing is too much trouble, order eggs just how you like them. The one and only fault is the toaster...you can either have hot bread or burnt toast!
