3/5 - Okay
Not a destination city, but the hotel is central to a lot of interesting areas. But, next time, I would prefer to stay in a place that is manned and closer to the things we enjoyed, ie downtown Ouray, or Telluride even if it costs more.

Staff was great, food was amazing, service was perfect but if I knew the hotel faces a high school and lacrosse field - I probably would not have booked. The TV did not work but the beds are comfortable and rooms are clean.

The room was clean, tidy, and smelled amazing! Paul was very personable, funny, and gave us lots of info about the town of silverton. The hot tub had a magical feeling with sparkling lights and the temperatures of the 3 different pools were very warm. I will be staying there again next time I am ...

Great economic option to the more expensive Telluride hotels
Do not go
Beautiful and quiet but there are no amenities in the area.
Close to Telluride
Placerville was a low-key and cute little town. We found it to be a great alternative to Tellurude and more convenient for our purposes-hiking in Telluride, Ridgeway, and Ouray. Very friendly folks. Nce park and store.
