Unfortunately my family and I had to stay at this hotel for ONE night… I wish I could say something good about our stay but I cannot… the awful smell upon arrival in the lobby is unbearable… It’s negative degrees outside and the room was so freezing we had to crank the heat to high, 85 and the cold air was whistling through the window.. there was dog hair on our “clean” sheets and we don’t have a dog.. thank god we didn’t need to shower or bathe our children because the bathtub was disgusting.. there was a half a roll of toilet paper (clearly used from the last occupant) on the hanging on by a thread holder.. you either get ice cold or scolding hot water in the sink.. I needed to do ONE load of laundry and it was $8!!!!! The coffee downstairs was ice cold and the parking lot is a sheet of ice that doesn’t get treated. Spend the extra $20-30 and go somewhere else because we definitely will!!!

The hotel could not find our reservation. We ended up having to rebook it with them and then they could only accommodate one night. The hotel was not well kept or clean. The breakfast was minimal, not hot foods only cereal, pre made gas station honey buns and coffee. Would not recommend.

Walked in and it smelt so bad of mold mixed with a very disgusting smell. Can not explain the stench but it was AWFUL. Went to rooms and floor felt like you were going to fall through it. There were several places that the floor was very very soft and felt unsafe to say the least. Mold on ceiling and very dirty. The courtyard was an entire disaster and FILTHY. Very unsafe with dirt, tons of the owners plants EVERYWHERE, grime, and VARMINT TRAPS in the courtyard. Looked more like a junkyard than a courtyard. My two year old grandson wanted to be outside and there was not a safe place to be outside with him due to the courtyard being not only unsafe for an adult but absolutely unsafe for a two year old to play with supervision of course. It was really gross and there were several intoxicated men that approached my daughter and I. We were scared and rushed back inside quickly. Staff was putting out the continental breakfast items around 11:30 pm for the next morning. Wanted yogurt and looked at several and realized they were expired by three weeks along with other food items. We stayed until I could find another hotel. Which we ended up staying at the Bellissimo Grande Foxwoods and it was AMAZING. Staff was so friendly at the Bellissimo and seemed to really enjoy working there. So clean and spotless! Food and drinks were superb. The waterfall in their courtyard just what we needed after all we had been through. Want a AMAZING hotel BELLISSIMO GRANDE FOXWOODS IS A PLACE FOR YOU!
