"Area is one of the best in Athens, close to all the landmarks and lots of places to eat and shopping, but it can get very busy and possibly hard to get a cab around on busy days! The roof top gardens was phenomenal, amazing view of the Acropolis! Staff was no the most helpful, specially if u arrive earlier and need to storage your luggages til your check in time! The mini fridge in the room didn't work at all and they never fixed it, but since we stayed just for one night we didn't care much!...

"The Sweet Home Hotel is charming in it's decor, and the staff were all warm and friendly. They each let us know in some way of their commitment to supporting our visit to Athens. Our only little complaint is that our room, though lovely (and bed comfortable) was very small leaving little room to put our suitcases and stuff -- also no comfortable seating (I am finding this a trend in newer boutique hotels)...no place to sit but the bed."

"Very comfortable beds and a nice breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice. The staff were very accommodating, helping with luggages after our check out and arranging a taxi for us to the airport. Lady at the breakfast always refilled our bottles with water which was very kind of her :)"

"This little simple hotel is right in the heart of where you want to stay. Best thing about it is the location! Just off a side street making it extremely quiet! You won't hear any noise at night, yet you are two minutes from a main street in the Plaka. Don't expect big rooms, fancy lobby, or luxuries. But you will get a very clean hotel with excellent staff. "
