Rooms were small but suitable for the trip. Staff was helpful and accommodating. Parking lot is a nightmare!!!

Hotel is a little hard to find, but has a (short and safe) pathway to the center of the small village. Staff is very friendly and helpful - 5-star service, including getting ice for us, even though it is strange for the French to use so much ice. Rooms are small, but so are 90%of the hotel rooms in France. Absolutely a wonderful area to spend two days in.

Hotel was at a beautiful location, by a river and surrounded by mountains. Evening walks around the small town were great. Hotel was very clean, and our room had a lot of space. I just wish it was a little closer to the sightseeing spots that we had picked.

Great location amongst a vineyard. Nice on-site dining as well.

Wonderful room and helpful staff

Hotel 1770 & Spa served as our home base during the week we spent visiting Avignon, L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, Pont du Gard, Arles, and Nimes. Sandine, the Hotel Manager, and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Sandine arranged for a driver to pick us up at the train station the night we arrived and to take us to the train station on the day we left. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I was awaiting a letter to arrive that had to be signed for and they were great about it. They said they were happy to help me and they successfully received and signed for the letter. They were nice whenever we needed anything, like pool towels or umbrellas. The room was very comfortable. We loved having air conditioning and the little patio outside the room was lovely. We spent some time enjoying the pool and also the spa. The spa has wonderful facilities!...

This is one of the most wonderful and comfortable places I have ever stayed. The property is beautiful, the rooms are very large (even by US standards), the breakfast was fantastic, but the people were beyond all expectations. Henri, Veldi, Dominique, and Norwin (the folks who manage and run the place) are the most wonderful, welcoming, friendly and kind people you will meet as a traveler. Truly an exceptional visit. There are no downsides. Just fantastic.

We had a lovely stay at this charming little B&B in Avignon, run by a very kind and warm-hearted couple. Neither of the owners spoke fluent English, but we were able to communicate perfectly well using a translation app. I also did my best to practice my elementary French, which made the experience feel even more personal and memorable.
