Hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, paddle boarding, Ausable Chasm, and downtown Plattsburgh all less than 15 minutes away. Relaxing getaway with lovely views of the lake. A beautiful spot overlooking the channel and Valcour Island beyond. Impecably manicured common lawn area, fire pits and chairs, and even a hammock. Our cottage was spotless, snug and had 'just enough' of everything we needed as a couple. Greg was enormously welcoming, communicative and friendly. We look forward to coming back to Valcour Cottages again!

Cute location, could be cleaner

Location was great, water side, peaceful, great outdoor amenities. This interior needs some attention - shower pan grout was black, bathroom mirror coated in some type of film, no washcloth, no extra towels, dead insects on window sills and in cookware. Also, the listing should be updated - no restaurant within a "3 min walk"But, again, the property and exterior amenities like chairs, fireplaces, hammock were fantastic and the view was incredible

This was a beautiful spot right on the lake. We loved the fire pit, and we were able to quickly stop in town for groceries and make a delicious dinner in the kitchen. Being right across the street from a great ice cream shop was a bonus too!
