The Space:
Welcome to our 1,076 sq ft | 100 sqm ground-floor apartment in the very heart of downtown Playa – one block to the famous 5th Avenue and steps from the beach and fun beach clubs! It’s the perfect place to stay for some friends looking for some beach and fun at your doorstep!

The living room has modest decor, with a futon couch and wall-mounted flatscreen Smart TV for relaxing downtime moments after the beach or a day trip. You’ll have a well-equipped kitchen with a stove (no oven) to prepare a simple meal—this comes in handy if traveling on a budget! There’s a dining table that seats 6, and you can enjoy your meals on the outdoor table.

There is direct access to your private patio area, which has a table and chairs for enjoying some fresh air, dining, sipping cocktails, or having your morning coffee.

When it’s time to retire for the night, there are two comfy bedrooms and two full bathrooms to accommodate four guests comfortably as such:
Bedroom 1 has a king bed and an ensuite bathroom
Bedroom 2 has a double/full bed (uses the common area bathroom)

Additional highlights include WiFi and laptop workspace at the tables for the remote worker or for streaming your favorite TV shows. It’s convenient, too, for longer stays.

The Neighborhood:
The apartment is located in the “golden section” of Playa del Carmen on 1st Avenue, just a few steps from the beach and the famous 5th Avenue pedestrian-only walk street! Everything in downtown Playa and 5th Avenue is within walking distance: convenience stores, grocery shopping, souvenir and boutique shops, vibrant shopping malls, dining establishments, bars, cafes, and nightlife. It's just a 1-min walk to the beach and beach clubs like Indigo, Zenzi or Lido Beach Club, literally just steps away!

Getting Around:
The apartment is 55 km | 35 miles from the Cancun International Airport (CUN) and is located in the heart of downtown Playa in Apartments Amanecer. The ride from the airport to the apartment is usually around 50 minutes, but it all depends on the traffic and time of day. You should refer to your mobile map app for travel time.

It’s best to pre-arrange private transportation for your group from the airport as taxis are quite expensive. There are private transport vans for up to 8-10 passengers with luggage. You can also take the ADO first-class bus. It may take a little longer, about an hour’s drive because they make a few stops on the way, but it’s much more economical.

If you don’t feel like renting a car and driving around town, taxis are always available, just be sure to take registered taxis only! Public bicycles are available to rent downtown, too. You will see the BiciPlaya stands, where you can rent bikes by the day or by the journey.

There are also 2 ADO bus stations to get you to nearby Yucatan destinations or other Mexican states for day trips, etc, located at:
- 5th Avenue and Av. Benito Juarez
- 20 Avenida Norte and Calle 12

In the event you are driving around town, note there are PARKING METERS IN PLAYA DEL CARMEN! You must look for the Pay Stands/Boxes on the sidewalk and pay for your parking in advance then display your ticket on the dashboard.

*Please note, the location is incredible, but you will be about 100 m/300 ft from the nightclubs on 12th Street. If you like to go out and dance, this will be a great stay for you!
- There is no free parking at the apartment complex. You must pay the parking meter daily to park on the street.
- Electricity is very expensive in Playa del Carmen. There are weekly and monthly electricity charges of $50USD per week and $200USD per month-long stay. Help us save energy by using the AC wisely and keeping the temperature at 25°C.
- Travelers must be at least 21 years old to book.
- Guests will be asked to sign a Rental Agreement upon booking confirmation.
- Guests might be required to present an official ID at check-in or during the stay.
- Depending on the booking site to make the reservation, a security deposit might be required, refunded after check-out, provided all terms are met.
- No more guests than those listed on the reservation are allowed.Daytime visitors are not allowed. A penalty fee will apply for unauthorized visitors.
- No smoking of any kind inside the home! Drug use and illegal activity on the premises are also strictly prohibited. Failure to comply results in a $300 fine.
- No parties, events, or excessive noise after 10 pm. Please respect the neighbors.
- Cleaning service is available at an extra cost. Let us know in advance to book it.
- There are outdoor security cameras for safety and security.
- Guests are responsible for damages that occur or extra cleaning costs as a result of their stay.
- Pets are not allowed at this property.

Interaction with Guests:
You can check yourself in using the lockbox at the front gate. Access codes are sent within 24 hours of your arrival.
