"villa was lovely, very private, quiet and relaxing, great mountain view at the back of house, had great glass roomed areas at the back which you can admire the view from the indoor jacuzzi/doa or just relaxing in a chair, great in bad weather to have that area to chill in, the only thing I would say is there is a lot of local dogs in the surrounding properties, so there is a lot of constant barking all day through to the evening, it wasn't to bad at first but when its constant all day and all night every day it does get a bit frustrating and annoying, also there is a black and white cat which is constantly at the house constantly meowing it's really loud and sounds like a baby crying, there is food and a cat house in the outside laundry area, not sure if it is a resident of the house or wether it's a stray, but don't feel like it's up to the people who rent the house to feed it and look after it, obviously this is what has been happening that's why it's constantly there, with the dogs barking and the cat meowing was annoying, there could be a few more items in the kitchen to use for eg measuring jugs, pizza cutter and a few more things, very close to airport, lidl and aldi just 20 min car drive, so great location, I would stay there again lovely spacious, comfortable villa "

"The villa is situated next to the ancient volcano of Mount Arena and as we are botanists we found it very interesting.The villa is an 'eco-house' which means that the hot water relies on sunshine. Unfortunately (and I think this is unusual) we had nine days of cold cloudy weather. This meant that the hot water was very erratic. I shaved in cold water evry morning and we didn't use the shower much because it was sometimes cold, sometimes warm. There is a gas cylinder heater which was useful in the evenings.It was too cold to use the pool but it was very clean.We cooked in every evening. One of the rings on the cooker doesn't work but the owner seems to be aware of this so I expect that will be fixed soon. There were very few pans for cooking but the owner kindly lent us a saucepan. As improvements I would suggest a couple more saucepans with lids and possibly a microwave. I thought the breakages deposit of about 500 was rather high, I could not see how you could do that much damage as all the furniture is pretty basic.If all that sounds a bit negative I should say that the owner was very helpful and easily contactable. "

"My wife and I have just returned from a six week stay and we had a very good holiday. The house is very well equipped. There is a high level of security as the grounds can only be accessed via an electric gate system. The bed is comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped and the living room is huge. Whilst there is a table and chairs outdoors, there is also a dining area within the living room for cooler evenings. The house is a little dark inside with a quirky layout, but has lots of character and is in a peaceful location. A couple of things worth mentioning. Upon arrival we were greeted by a number of very persistent cats who were trying to get into the house. During our first week they continually sat on the outside furnishings and begged for food at the doors. This was a problem for me as I am allergic to pet hairs. However, the problem was solved when I bought a water pistol. A big problem is the number of flies at the property, probably due to the greenery in the garden. Although fly swats and repellent were on hand at the property, we were constantly having to swat them whilst seated outside. It was also impossible to keep them out of the house. The property is quite a bit above sea level and the temperature is noticeably lower than on the coast.We had a couple of problems during our stay but Ana, the owner, was easy to contact annd was very quick to respond and sort the problems outI think that the positives far outweigh the negatives and we enjoyed our stay"

"The owners are very welcoming and helpful.They let us check in early and as we were unlucky with the weather they gave us a fan heater for the chilly evenings.They left wine , biscuits and fruit for us and more drinks in the fridge and any query was answered promptly.The villa is very comfortable and spotlessly clean andwe would love to come back . Can only recommend"

"Very good communication. Facilities exactly as described. Local manager very helpful. Property clean and well presented. Location instructions were out of date as they mentioned turning immediately after a restaurant (*which is no longer there). Having comfortable seating outside on the patio would make what is a great villa into a truly excellent one. We had a really good holiday. Thank you"

"Location is great, not far from Corralejo, car is essential however if you stand out by the main road its very easy to flag a taxi down.Pool cleaning services needs to be more regular or at least leave the pool net out for guest to clean ahould they wish to do so.We spent around 30 euros on cleaning products and bug sprays, recommend spraying all furniture and bed/bedrooms first. Keep on top of that and your stay will be great.Overall the review for the property is highly recommended and we will definitely be looking at staying here again in the future. Beautiful villa. "
