Amazing location for a family vacation. We loved every minute from the private pool, access to the estuary, walk to the local eateries and beach. A genuinely fun time! To top it off the managed was highly communicative and help all through our stay. Every need was met.

Playa grande is a tiny town with maybe 5 places to eat. It’s 40 min to Tamarindo unless you walk down the beach for 10 min to a water taxi- then walk on the other side to the main strip. It’s just too hot to do all that.

Bring nothing but comfy shoes, particularly ones you can spray off like plastic flip flops or water resistant shoes. We went during the dry season and it was very dusty so we had to spray down our shoes every day.

Go to El Huerto Pizzeria, the best pizza in Guanacaste! Highly recommend it!
