"This was the best hotel I have ever stayed at and I travel often enough. Beautiful view of tamarindo beach from the infinity pool, staff is so friendly and accommodating(we got a sunburn and they let us trim some of the hotel aloe for use lol) Rooms are clean and each comes with a balcony view of the beach. Breakfast is free and super tasty, a buffet. Didn’t use the spa but they have have deals those too! Cant wait to come back to the Wyndham "

"The front desk staff dont give you a great first impression"

"Great hotel overall. The amenities were great; there is a pool, common kitchen with gas stovetop, common eating area, lounge chairs, mini fridge in room and places to relax. There was a hole in our door which let in some insects and ants. The wifi was patchy in out room, but that could have been because we were the farthest room from the main office. There was a great restaurant next door with friendly staff. Unfortunately the mini-mart close by didn't have many food options."

"Amazing location for a family vacation. We loved every minute from the private pool, access to the estuary, walk to the local eateries and beach. A genuinely fun time! To top it off the managed was highly communicative and help all through our stay. Every need was met. "

The location is the best of both worlds: peaceful and private in a lush forest setting with wildlife nearby, while still being a quick walk to the beach and great restaurants. The space was very clean and felt inviting from the moment we arrived. The host went above and beyond by letting us leave our luggage on-site and use the outdoor shower after checkout after a surf session—such a thoughtful touch. Highly recommended."

"This house was amazing! It was clean and had everything we needed. The town was an easy walk and had great restaurants. The whole staff was so helpful and nice. Our favorite was the house dog Morena! We had the best week at Casa Mirage. "

"House and yard are nice but we experienced unpleasant issues.Front door locking mechanism is faulty and caused great difficulty every time we returned to the house from an outing. The door would stick and jam after entry code was keyed in, and would not open without brute strength and multiple tries. We sent photographs to the host of the mangled lock (metal bent and lock mechanism marred) on our very first day and requested someone to come to the house to fix it. But no one came. The house has a central alarm system on the wall, but absolutely no instructions were available on how to use it. Only a keypad code was given.The internet went out on day five and we reported it to the host, as we had no WiFi and no tv. We reset the router multiple times, which didn't help. On day six, Host sent a very nice but technically untrained young man to fix it. Felt really bad for him because he clearly had no clue what to do (he had no tools, no equipment, no know-how about the issue.) On day seven, we were told the service provider has a technician on the way, but that person never arrived. When we checked out on day 10, system was still down.Lastly, the house immediately next door has a barking dog that made it impossible to enjoy poolside time or time in the backyard. The dog barked incessantly until evening, when the owner returned home.Overall, we were not impressed with this house. "
