"We only stayed one night as this was a landing spot for us after La Fortuna and before moving on to the south. I booked it mainly for the ability to do laundry and space to move around. We enjoyed soaking our feet in the pool this morning before rushing off to our next destination. The location for different beaches and near great food and shopping was great.The host was very fast and clear in responses."

"This place was better then we thought. It was very spacious, beds were extra comfy and the kitchen was super stocked. Think Grandma’s house with all the essentials and pretty much anything you could think of. I would have loved if there was a little oil and salt and pepper available for cooking without having to buy it but it was so good. The pool is not huge but it was normally quiet and all ours.. the beach is super close and also quiet. Seriously playa Flamingo was crazy but Potrero. So calm...

We did have some significant issues with the address to the unit., which took us hours to find in the dark with no street signs and no cell service. "From the start everything went smooth. The property manager set things up. The concierge took over after we got there. Concierge answered all questions and made the trip easy. The house was better than expected. The views and the space for guest was perfect. The pool wasn’t as clean but there was a net to do yourself and didn’t matter that much. Jacuzzi came on at 4 like clock work. Every kitchen appliance, tool and utensil you’d need. Games and puzzles galore. The location is a bit awkward to do anything without a vehicle, but wasn’t an issue for us. We made it to all the beaches and had 2 adventures in 6 days. All the locals were friendly. I give this place a 10 of 10 for our first international family trip."

"We stayed here for the first time in Costa Rica ! It was a short drive through the (about 30-40mins) to get here from Liberia airport. I recommend to book your transportation prior to your trip. The hotel was beautiful !! Lots of pools, food options and entertainment. The staff was also friendly. There is also a Waterpark in the property for the little ones with slides and sprinklers. We had an overall pleasant experience here, but coming with small children I do have some suggestions that could make the experience even better. Rooms had multiple doors which were easy to open even when locked (not child safe). I would suggest the hotel has family rooms with child safety locks to prevent any accidents while on vacation. Also rooms with families should be cleaned daily. We changed our children dirty diapers and they would be there for the whole day (sometimes more than a day). Even if we left for the day to eat or enjoy the pool, when we would return the garbage would still be there. Maybe they are short staff but this could improve. Also"

"Overall planet Hollywood is a chill resort. There isn’t much to do after 7pm. The pools and bars close early. If you want something off the grid ish and just want to relax then it it’s ok for the price. Food was just ok, many of the restaurants use a lot of salt. Staff is very friendly. "
