"We reserved a room at this location, however we were switched to ZenZaru same ownership. At KiKaru the grounds were not maintained and the pool was unusable/not clean. When we arrived at ZenZaru the location was very inconvenient. You had to go down approximately 100 steps to get to the rooms. There is no reception area, no rest area/lounge. The room was recently finished but not complete. The bathroom/shower was large and comfortable, however the extreme hot water was not adjustable and poor...

"Clean modern room, best shower in Costa Rica at this pricepoint. Fast wifi with excellent coverage. No AC, but room is designed for that with large screens just below the ceiling and a big overhead fan. We stayed for two nights when day time temps were in the upper 80s on the beach, and we were very comfortable at altitude with the breezes from the ocean. The host, Lori, is a gem. "Stay was great, relatively relaxing and plenty of space inside the room. If you’re only looking for a place to sleep and do activities outside during the day, I would highly recommend. Other than a small pool, there is really nothing to do. I guess my only concern was it was a bit hard to locate as it didn’t have huge signs like other hotels nearby. "

Tons of various monkeys skipping through the property and even a sloth right outside our window. We saw more wildlife on the resort than we did in Manuel Antonio Park! "
