"We really enjoyed our stay here. The location was great. The place was clean and the AC was cold. The walk to the beach was beautiful. The property was incredible. We saw lots of monkeys and parrots. It’s a great destination if you enjoy surfing and beautiful beaches and sunsets."

"We had an awesome time in this Robinson Caruso style treehouse. We loved how unique and authentic it was and the property was so beautiful. We spent a lot of time enjoying the beach out front. We came here to surf and really enjoyed the offshore winds and beautiful waves. The host was so easy to deal with and was so polite. Everything went so smoothly."

"Great spot, 4 minute walk to beach, and close walk to the restaurants in the area. Josh the manager on site was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast every morning was good with fresh fruit, toast, and eggs. Place was very clean and well maintained. Would definitely recommend and return!"

"Amazing stay at George and Blythe’s beautiful home. We had a group of 10 family members across 3 generations that enjoyed every aspect of the house, but especially the outdoor living area. We spent most of our week outside enjoying the pool and all the amenities at the house and the community. The Beach Club was fantastic. But most importantly, the concierge team with Dani leading the charge made our stay even that much better with excellent planning and execution of our daily activities. Amazing stay in this luxurious home. Pura Vida"

"We had a wonderful stay in Tamarindo and would highly recommend this property.The home was absolutely beautiful and exactly as described in the listing. Everything was very well maintained, and the host guidebook was very helpful in explaining how to use the electronics, appliances, and other features in the house, which made our stay especially comfortable.The concierge team was exceptional. They were incredibly helpful with everything we needed—from directions and restaurant recommendations to reservations, transportation, shopping, referrals, and general questions about the area. No matter what we asked, they responded very quickly and always made things easy for us.We also arranged for someone to come in and help prepare breakfast, which was such a wonderful addition to our stay. The entire house staff was kind, welcoming, and extremely helpful.The combination of the beautiful property, wonderful staff, and excellent concierge service made our time in Tamarindo truly enjoyable. I would absolutely recommend both this property and the area to anyone planning a trip to Costa Rica. We would happily stay here again!"

"This place is a great find. Clean room. Large room. Bed and bedding are comfortable. Restaurant is the best food. French toast in the morning is the best I’ve ever had. Plus they have adorable clothing store on site."

"LOVED the indoor/outdoor open space of the living areas. Swam in the pool and sat in the sauna every day. Walked down every evening to the small neighborhood beach to watch the sunset. Grilled dinner in the outdoor casita and when we wanted to take surf lessons we headed down to Playa Avellanas. Spent wonderful time at Hacienda Pinilla beach club, which was lovely for swimming, lounging, cocktails and dining. The Vida Pinilla concierge team was excellent and made arrival and activities so easy. So relaxing! Highly recommend The Tides Villa! We’ll be back- Thank you"

"We had a great time at El Respiro. The house is large, well equipped and comfortable. We did not have any issues, but Alejandro was a very communicative and approachable host from early until check out. We will definitely look for this house again in our next beach holiday!"
