"House is spacious and supplies adequate. Just bring your own towels and linens as earlier advised by owner Water supply, hot and cold, is abundant for 12 people. Parking for 5 cars, no problem. Things that can easily be added to make the property more user friendly: 1) Grab bars in bath tubs to prevent accidents. We had two slips and had to grab the shower curtain and avoided a bad fall. 2) Electric fan in each room to address the warm nights of summer. Bought our own fans ar Port Perry...

"I had a great stay. We went up with 3 families, each with two kids and everyone had a blast. The house has a spectacular kitchen with an open concept that accommodated all of us comfortably. Location was great, quick drive from Toronto and then youā€™re immediately on a lake. Kids loved heading on the lake with kayaks, the gas fireplace, and just lounging in the pool. The town was also very close to pick up any last minute supplies and to just walk around with nice little shops and restaurants....

"We had a great relaxing weekend here. Property manager Andy was very friendly and easy going. He set us up with firewood and got us set up with the pontoon boat we rented to use for the weekend. Our cottage was right on the lazy river so we made sure to float down it in the provided tubes. Overall great low key weekend on beautiful Buckhorn Lake."
