Looking forward to coming back

We spend two nights at a room for a couple. The breakfast was excellent, the staff attentive and polite, the room was clean and well maintained. Plitvice national park is a short walk away so we could enjoy the nature without having to start the car during our stay. We are looking forward to our next visit when we need a break in the nature.

We had a wonderful 1 night stay at the Fenomen Hotel after visiting Plitvice Lakes National Park. The service was superb and the property is breathtaking. Our children loved the trampoline and the breakfast. I highly recommend this hotel and would love to return one day.

Great hotel by Plitvice

Fine quality hotel right on the edge of the Plitvice national park. Beautifully situated, nice layout, very friendly staff. Restaurant could probably improve a bit, e.g. breakfast options were a bit limited. Over all, we would go again.

This property was fantastic. It was quiet, clean, and beautiful. Our room was wonderful and the outside picnic table area outside our room was a very nice space. The restaurant was fantastic, especially for breakfast.

Loved the property as beautiful secluded area, all new units as of 2018, and best thing is that you can take a short walk into the P3 zone and walk thru the entire park from a rarely used access point.Highly recommend!

Beautiful property

Everything was good except the location, when we arrived it was snowing, although the road was cleared, but need to take attention on diriving to the property because it was located on the remote area . The property was very beautiful becuse covered by heavy snow. If you visit the national park during winter season, choose the hotel near the park should be better idea.

Beautiful stop to visit Plitvice

Pros: location is superb, you can easily walk to beautiful vistas, and one of the entrances to the park, staff were lovely, place was clean. Cons: (delivered in the spirit of improvement!) We could only use the hot tub once because you only get one booking even with a two night trip. It’s nice that you have it to yourself for an hour but the charge is 30euro if you want to use it again. I’m sure giving each cottage an hour a day is doable. There was only enough hot water for one shower and wait, or 2 very fast showers. Learned the hard way! (Just mention it upon check in!) There is a charge for tea bags if you use more than the two complimentary. I don’t even drink tea but this is not a warm and hospitable message. Provide 2 a day for the $200+/ day. It was hard to tell if you’re trying to be economy or luxury. (Be luxury! The place is beautiful enough but no teabag messages!!) Finally the cottage is supposed to sleep 3 people, we had 2 twin beds. Nothing was in the upstairs loft. Didn’t need it but wonder if that’s where the third bed would be?

We absolutely adored our stay at Fenomen Plitvice Resort. The location is outstanding with the most picturesque overlook of the park 500 meters from the property. Additionally, we were able to walk from the resort to the P3 entrance to the park. The hotel had a wonderful free breakfast and allowed you to reserve a private 40 min spa session which was outstanding after a long day of hiking. We enjoyed two dinners at the restaurant and had a lovely experience (with delicious Croatian wine) both times. Highly recommend this resort!

This was a unique property in the "woods." Beautiful "campus." We were impressed by its cleanliness and service. I would definitely stay there again. However, be mindful of the season of your travel. We went in mid-Oct and it was cold (we're Californians) but were unable to use the heater since the cold season hadn't started.

Phenomenal

Phenomenal by name, and phenomenal in reality. An oasis of luxury in the national park. Wonderful attention to detail, with a wonderful team. Accommodation was faultless, and the restaurant was amazing. High quality local cusine, prepared and presented beautifully.
