"Absolutely beautiful property, walking when the tide went out was really cool. Staff was amazing and plenty of things to do with the kids. I traveled with my wife and 2 kids (10 and 6) and they had a blast with all the stuff they had, such as: - corn hole - fire pits - pickle ball - basketball court - pool - chess The only downside are the bloody lifts, they are sloooow and you could potentially wait a bit. Either way, I was so relaxed I didn't care about the lift so it was all good. Stay here, you won't regret it. P.S. Lots of dogs as well!!!"

"My husband and I wanted a weekend away with our oldest son. We enjoyed being right across from the beach. We walked into town for lunch and dinner. Golfed at Bellingham north. Was quite wet but enjoyed. The home had all that we needed. Very clean and has a great cozy beach vibe. You have a lovely place and will definitely want to come back again. "

"We loved our stay at the Half Shell. The views were amazing, the widelife (birds) abundant, and the peace and serenity exactly what we were looking for. Having pictures of the kitchenette in the listing would have been helpful. It was a pleasant surprise. Although we didn't cook, it had everything we would have needed to make a small meal. Everything went smoothly and we look forward to staying at this location again really soon. "

"Home is well-appointed and comfortable, with lots of room to spread out. All modern conveniences available for use - coffee maker, microwave, split air/heaters, washer & dryer. Clear, quick communication with the host, easily accessed the property at check in. Our favorite feature was the deck in back, over looking the water, where we watched ferries crossing, eagles & geese hunting for food and gorgeous sunsets. Highly recommend and hope to return soon for another stay!"
