"The hotel is located at the quieter side of town. It has the amenities of the Mackinac City but without all the traffic and commercial activities there. There are many restaurants around the area, shuttle to island ferry. It's located in front of the lake with daily breakfast included. There are 2 pools, indoor and outdoor. All in all, a very nice quiet stay befitting the ambiance of Mackinac."

"Wonderful resort after spending the day on Mackinac Island. The free breakfast buffet was typical food. Room had an amazing beach view allowing one to sit on the balcony and enjoy beach view and ambiance without getting sandy. The hot tub was enjoyable, crowded at times. Water was hot and jets were intense. The free shuttle to Sheplers ferry was efficient and prompt. We ate dinner one night at Breakers and was disappointed. We had extremely long wait for mediocre food served warm but not hot. We used a 20%off coupon for dining which the concierge gave us upon checking in. The concierge lady was friendly and helpful! Our room had a damp, musty odor and the entire hotel is dated but we did appreciate the free washer and dryer which came in handy for us. "
