The location was excellent in the heart of Lake Bohinj territory (easy day trip to Bled from there) with so much beauty and things to explore within walking/biking distance. "We had a lovely stay at Vila Alpina. The room was clean and spacious the bed was comfy and there was plenty of parking. The communal outdoor space was really nice. The Vila is a short walk to the lake and the nearest restaurants, and about a 25 minute walk round to the larger town centre. The man on reception was extremely friendly and helpful, giving us lots of great recommendations for restaurants and things to do."

"There's no question the location is absolutely stunning on the shores of lake bled. Directly looking across at the castle. Absolutely amazing views. The property itself is very old. The buffet side of the breakfast has plenty of fruit and pastries. They imply like you could order something except for all of the wait staff completely avoids you. The interactions at the restaurant were the same you see people there so you know they're not doing anything but almost impossible to flag anybody down or get them to come to the table"

"We had a great stay at Triglav Bled. The old hotel is beautiful and has a commanding view of Lake Bled. The staff was excellent and the breakfast was really good. The room was spacious and very clean and well maintained. It was a great experience! Two things to be aware of though: 1) To get to Lake Bled is a bit of a hike down (and then back up) a fairly steep path, so if you are not in decent shape that could be an issue. 2) There is no food at the hotel after lunch time. The restaurant is closed for dinner, and the option is to drive to Bled to find a restaurant. Neither of these was an issue for us but worth mentioning. I will definitely stay at Triglav Bled if I visit again!"

"The hotel is in a prime location! There is a car park which is paid for but we parked in the public free car park which was a good walk. The hotel has a quirky Nouveau Roche design. The room has open plan bathroom situation. Meaning you can hear your partner in the toilet. But that's fine. It was clean comfortable and pleasant. Air conditioning was a plus. Breakfast was good with french toast and pancakes. Breakfast staff were friendly!"
