We are so happy to have found Duck Lodge outside Brighton proper. Located in a safe rural picturesque village, it is an easy train ride into Brighton and you won’t have to hassle with parking and crowds. Our host, Keith, keeps the property immaculately maintained and made sure we had anything and everything we needed. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, brought to the door each morning. We were in Eastbourne visiting friends and to attend a wedding at Battle Abbey. Picked the Albert & Victoria Guest House because of all the Great Reviews and it lived up the 5 Star-Rating!! The owner Keith goes to no-ends to make your stay pleasant. He is the perfect host to say the least!! The folks he has working for him were delightful. If your plans take you to Eastbourne then a stay at the Albert & Victoria will surely make you stay Very Pleasant!!!!

The hosts and property were delightful. However, I did not have a vehicle and the property is not convenient if you need to be in Lewes or Brighton as there is limited - no - public transportation and it is not within walking distance. Carol went above and beyond in carting me to Lewes each day!

All around wonderful

This was an amazing property! Very clean. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Very quiet country setting. Definitely a great place for a destination wedding or special event. The art gallery and shop had some really great finds. If we had more time, we would have loved to stay longer:)

This Little inn above the pub was so charming. The room was fantastic, cozily decorated and had a big window. The weather was perfect, and we were able to have the window open. Caution with the window open, it can be a little noisy from the pub downstairs. But no worries on that. We enjoyed hearing folks having lots of fun! It's also conveniently located and easily walkable to the old town. And of course, gorgeous Beach.

The Tiger Inn was very lovely. The Minnie was a great room, very clean and wonderful amenities. Excellent staff who were very attentive to guests' needs. Breakfast was absolutely amazing - if we had longer we would have ordered hot items but what ate was so delicious and was enough for us. Drinks at the bar were great - a pint beer and a Pims cup (so yummy!!). Didn't get a chance to try the food at dinner because we ate a very late lunch. Would 100% stay here again and would stay at least 2...

Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Room was clean and the bed was quite comfortable. My only issue was the room was quite warm until I figured out that hose on the portable air conditioner was not attached to the unit.

Central location to everywhere and great facility to dine in or dine out. Clean and reasonable costs.

The food was fantastic & plentiful. It was a friendly and generous attitude. I was treated as family. I was there as memorial to my brother & his wife who lived Brighton; sadly they are both gone ....I really needed that friendliness 😳🌹 thank you

Sally and Mike are wonderful, attentive hosts with a wealth of information on the local area. They also offer excellent breakfast options in house.

Enjoyed our stay. The Inn was clean and comfortable. The service was excellent and all employees were friendly, helpful and very pleasant.
