"The bedroom was comfortable and I had a good nights sleep. The bathroom was extremely damp and mouldy. Overall abit of a tired hotel. Staff are nice but couldn’t help me much with my issues or questions. There is a nice pool but a large party playing loud music and drinking had been allowed to sit by the pool so it felt uncomfortable to use the pool when I arrived. I paid more for a “Mountain View” room but I was told that didn’t really exist so I wouldn’t advise booking that and paying more...

"Our family of 5 arrived at the villa at 630pm tired and hoping for a good night rest. Pressed the bell and knocked on the door before someone came down from the villa. Realised they werent aware there is a booking for the night's stay! We had to wait for a good one hour before that poor caretaker sort out the stay wt the owner for our booking and then cleaned the rooms. No service recovery and no apologies by the owner at all. Utterly disappointed! "

"An absolutely wonderful place! The house is beautiful, cozy, spotlessly clean, and filled with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The breakfasts were outstanding: fresh, delicious, and prepared with great care. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the bedding was impeccably clean, making our stay exceptionally relaxing. We traveled as a family of 2 adults and 2 children, and the accommodation was absolutely perfect for us. The house is conveniently located just 10 minutes from the city center....

"The hotel is well located, in city center of Kandy. The rooms were very spacious and despite the outside traffic, it was very quiet inside. The restaurant has very good food. The view from the pool was outstanding but the pool itself was small. The staff was helpful and friendly."

The staff was very hospitable, the amenities were great, loation of the hotel relative to the scenic view was fantastic, breakfast was amazing (with so much variety), room was decent sized and clean too. Got upgraded so appreciate that very much. Gave us nothing to complain about. 10/10 and would highly recommend."

The staff were friendly and welcoming, and our room was comfortable and well-appointed. "We stayed in the Riverdale Bungalow for 4 nights. This bungalow is across town from the main hotel. The bungalow was gorgeous, clean and had lots of amenities. We were just a couple using the main bedroom, but there is a second room with 2 single beds so a family could stay here. The private pool, big porch and side garden were all for our use and beautiful. The view from up there does not get any better. We visited many places in Kandy, and this one had the best view. Very peaceful to relax by the pool and watch nature go by. Delicous Breakfast was made to order every morning on the porch so we got to watch the birds and monkeys go by. Bandana the butler and the Chef made the stay perfect and personalised for us, the curry dinner was the best meal we had in Kandy."
