Staff are nice but couldn’t help me much with my issues or questions. There is a nice pool but a large party playing loud music and drinking had been allowed to sit by the pool so it felt uncomfortable to use the pool when I arrived. I paid more for a “Mountain View” room but I was told that didn’t really exist so I wouldn’t advise booking that and paying more...

"Our family of 5 arrived at the villa at 630pm tired and hoping for a good night rest. Pressed the bell and knocked on the door before someone came down from the villa. Realised they werent aware there is a booking for the night's stay! We had to wait for a good one hour before that poor caretaker sort out the stay wt the owner for our booking and then cleaned the rooms. No service recovery and no apologies by the owner at all. Utterly disappointed! "

"Beware non-Muslim guests! This is a dry hotel, and apparently consumption of alcohol is prohibited anywhere on the property. This was not disclosed prior, which is unacceptable! "I absolutely enjoyed my stay here. Clean, comfortable room with great water pressure. Probably the best shower I've had in all of Sri Lanka The location is great. Close enough to walk to the city centre but still far enough away from the city noise Best part about this hotel though is the receptionist Dilrukshi. Very friendly, personable and genuine. Always greets you with a smile and asks about how you're doing in a non forced way, you can tell she actually cares about her guests. Thank you Dilrukshi and the rest of the staff. I look forward to coming back"
