"Perfect location for the castle or the city centre. "

"Very pleasant Hotel in a prime location on the river next to the old bridge with ready walking access to the old city. 2 nights in a comfortable room with bath and shower. Breakfast was ample with a good range of cold and hot buffet items. Service was excellent with reception staff supportive and helpful. On the critical side, the spacious balcony with good views of river, bridge and old town leaked from above, with tired floring. The spa is separate from the small hotel swimming pool at extra cost with the hot tub and sauna within the spa. No room service for food whilst the restaurant was open and fully booked. Overall, a good stay 8/10"

"Hotel Montmorency is 4* and right opposite the Hotel Chateau which was 5* so they share the same facilities which made it a great stay. Fantastic location set back 200m from Carcassonne entrance Gorgeous pool area, a bit smaller than official photos suggest but still lovely Breakfast was amazing, an array of dishes served to you by a waitress, fruit, cheese, ham, pastries, croissants, white and brown rolls and option for boiled eggs and muesli. Lovely setting at front of hotel overlooking the castle for breakfast, food and drink, gardens are beautiful The decor in the Montmorency is a bit on the loud side and the rooms a little small but the beds are very comfortable and great shower. Very pleased with our stay though a little disappointed that they did nothing at all to help us celebrate my 60th birthday and our silver wedding anniversary despite banners and cards all over our room and we’d notified them months in advance?"

"We needed a one night stop to see a concert, the room was great value, and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the accommodation and the friendly welcome from the staff. "

"Great property! We arrived very late and the hotel manager/staff was more than accommodating to get us from our uber to the hotel. Breakfast in the morning is a bit light but traditional. We had one issue where I showered the first day and was caught in the shower with both an empty large bottle of shampoo and body wash. My husband went to housekeeping and was able to recover it but inconvenient to wait that long and easily avoidable. All minor in the scheme of things. We would recommend this hotel! "

"Fab hotel, 10 min walk to Carcassonne Le Cite, warm friendly staff, excellent facilities, nice restaurant, outdoor pool with pool bar, food and drink priced at around the same as Le Cite, i would definitely stay here again."
