"Amazing staff, but be prepared for hidden fees and dated rooms The staff here were fantastic — genuinely a highlight of the stay. The private beach is small, but it's right behind the property, so it's very easy and comfortable to get to. The pool area is nice and conveniently located right next to the restaurant/bar. My two biggest issues: this is an old condo building converted into a hotel, and none of the rooms have been updated — very 1980s vibe throughout. The carpets are old and dirty; my son walked around barefoot for about two hours, and the bottoms of his feet turned jet black. The exterior areas (elevators, hallways, balconies) all have that same dated look. The second issue is the number of hidden charges that weren't disclosed at booking. Once you arrive, they inform you of a $39 daily fee covering bike rental access (not really usable in this location), gym access, two museum tickets, and a $20 restaurant/bar credit — this is on top of a separate $35 daily valet fee. They also charge for pool/beach towels, umbrellas, and cabanas, all billed to your room, ranging anywhere from $15 per towel to $70 for a cabana. A couple of smaller issues: the TVs couldn't connect to the internet, so I couldn't watch anything — not even the hotel channel. And I specifically booked this room for the in-room washer/dryer, but the dryer didn't work during my stay."

"The property is beautiful but a little decitful as some of the amenities are located at different sister resorts a few blocks away. Great location to bars and restaurants. They try to sell you a time share and berate you to sign up for the 60 minute presentation. I had to say no about 20 times before they would let us leave."

"Going to start off and say wonderful trip everything was wonderful I loved my stay, the owner even tell you idea places to go that’s in the area which helps a lot. Everything went smoothly didn’t have not one problem, the owner responded when needed . Overall 10 out of 10 great host great price, great house, great view."
