"This house is perfect for a larger family gathering! We had grandparents and two families with young kiddos gather there and it was the perfect size. The hosts go the extra mile with labels for switches and great directions for where things are located within the house. Beds were comfortable and the house in general was cozy! A couple of things to note that I feel were note well represented in the post. The pool is actually 20 minutes driving away, it is 5 dollars per person to get in (2 and under are free). There is a cute lake beach that is 7 minute drive away. You cannot really get anywhere by walking, the whole community is very spread out, but the drives are beautiful! Communication with the host was a bit strained prior to our arrival. There is an AI system that they use that led to some miscommunications prior to our trip. Once we arrived though, we were put in touch directly with Twila, who was quick to respond via text message to any questions we had. Overall, our trip was lovely and the area is truly special!"

"We stayed in the village while settling my parents’ estate, and we had our 2 dogs with us. This home is so well designed for the utmost comfort for people AND pets. The fenced in yard is secure and lovely. We saw a small herd of deer amble through the forest outside the fence. Everything you might need, from kitchen supplies, to bug spray, to dog toys and dishes are provided. All drawers and cabinets are labeled. I want the hosts to come organize my home! The beds and bedding are so comfortable, and there are a variety of pillows to choose from. I also enjoyed the deep soaking tub in the beautiful primary suite. This home is also very convenient to the east gate and the Dollar General in the village. We will probably need to travel back to HSV several times, and we hope this home will be available again when we do!"

"This home was perfect for our family while arranging my grandmother’s funeral in HSV. Plenty of space, had all the essentials, plenty of linens. There were several dead large flying ants that we had to vacuum up in each room upon arrival. The bedroom in the front of the home with the two beds did not have adequate air circulation (room was 14 degrees warmer) and this posed an inconvenience for family staying in that room. We accidentally left a baby toy, hopefully the host will be able to ship it to us if it’s found. Overall, a great stay!"

"Very nice property. Well equipped and very roomy. Due to a cancellation we only used two of the three bedrooms. One note is that the third full bathroom is other side of house from third bedroom. Must walk thru living and kitchen to access. Would have been a minor inconvenience for third couple. View was fabulous and lake was very comfortable to swim in. Would recommend."
