"It was clean, tidy and very near to the airport for taking flights"

"This is a pretty good place to stay at. It’s all on one floor but keep in mind it’s up two flights of stairs. On the site it does say that there is no elevator but it doesn’t state clearly that it’s on the second floor. The bathroom was super clean however the floors could use some work there was lots of dirt no carpet. Would stay again if I bring someone to take my suit case up the stairs. The owner was very nice and checks on you throughout your stay. "

"Terrible experience. Worse hotel I have EVER stayed in and the lack of management and customer service was ridiculous. The television did not work. The breakfast (or lack of) is insane. Need to remove this hotel off your list or you are dealing with a definite future liability. "

"It was a cute place. They apparently have breakfast but couldn't find it in the morning. It may be at the residence next door. When you arrive, there is a bell by the outside gate to push and the owner will come over. I booked a room with 2 beds as it was me and my teenage daughter. the owner said we could only sleep on the one unless we paid an additional $10 EU."

"Fantastic location, relaxed hotel though check in was complicated. Facilities to prepare your own breakfast. Good value for money. Staff were friendly and helpful. Lovely restaurant next door and very close to a grocery store. "

"Room was clean. Bathroom also clean. Shower didn’t have much pressure. Coffee and tea available for use during stay. Room was very cool and no heaters. Good location for airport took us 5 mins walk. 40 minute walk to tower of Pisa or €20 in a taxi which was a bit of a pain. Good value for a short break "

"This is a lovely, clean place to stay just a few minutes walk from Pisa airport. There was tea and coffee and snacks for us to help ourselves and the room was spacious, clean and comfortable."

"The property was easy to access and great for one night however the bathroom was terrible and there was quite a bit of noise from the road. The bathroom has a window into the bedroom without any curtains or blinds so you have no privacy when using the toilet and the bath has a high pressure shower head that would be great if there was anything to stop it from splashing all over the room as you try to use it. For one night to see the tower it is an ok place to stay but I wouldn't want to stay...

"Villa Alta provides beautiful history and art-intense setting, wonderful atmosphere and comfortable conditions for memorable romantic, family or individual stay and events. It is located very close to the cities of Lucca and Pisa, surrounded by the very well-designed and kept Mediterranean garden with the clean and beautiful pool aria. Our family enjoyed peace and quiet at the time of our stay. Food was great, too. We highly recommend this place. "

"Overall very clean newly refurbished rooms, unfortunately there is only one bathroom / shower area to be shared by all guests. Potentially you could have eight to ten people accessing the bathroom facilities. There appears to be four different rooms on the floor. If you are staying here you have to phone ahead to arrange the handover of the keys as there isn’t anyone on-site "

"The hotel is in the centre of Luca and within walking distance of anything you could want within the walled city. I felt safe as a solo female traveller and was comforted by the rooms' security. Breakfast was outstanding, the staff was friendly and helpful, the beds were comfortable, and the showers had great pressure with lots of hot water. Housekeeping had an eye for detail at this hotel; everything was clean upon arrival, and the turn-down service was thoughtful with my belongings while doing...

"We had a great time in Antica Dimora Leone, the House of Treason, which is based on a real story in history. The owner of the house is friendly and helpful during our stay. Every corner of the home has its own history and the room is so comfortable for us. There is a Michelin restaurant nearby called Ancient Pharmacy, they are awesome you must to give it a try. "

"Not so good. Shower curtain has mildew on it and the bathroom was shared. We arrived from the airport very late and gave the taxi driver the address. When he stopped outside we thought there might be a mistake as there was no sign and it didn’t look like a hotel. I checked the email which was all in Italian. It was 1am in the morning. However I saw someone else trying to enter the code for the front door and went in with them. I showed them my email and they helped us find and get into our room....

"We are a group of 12 retired friends traveling first time in Tuscany. Villa Buonamici was the perfect accommodation for us. It is very close to the gate to the walled city center, literally only minutes away. The accommodations were exactly as described. Checkin/out was very easy and convenient. Our trip to Tuscany included stays in four separate locations and Villa Buonamici was by far our favorite. Do yourself a favor and stay at this Villa, you won’t be disappointed."

"10min walk to the nearest train station to get to other areas of italy such as florence and cinque terre. 15min walk to the tower of Pisa. Clean chalet, friendly & helpful staff, shop/cafe/restaurant on site. Kitchen area equipped with basics for cooking, there is no kettle,toaster, oven or microwave - just a 4 ringed gas hob which i feel could be improved more. Lots of mosquitos so ensure you pack repellant. Towels to hire. Good quality supermarket 10min walk away. I would definitely stay here...
