When arriving it was a number of minutes before the reception staff answered the bell which I had to hit twice for attention. "Quaint little wooden gite in a peaceful village rural location. Great location for visiting WW1 memorials around The Somme region. Amiens is a beautiful city about 25 minutes away. We used as a base to visit Lille and Paris for the Olympic’s and both were about an hour and a half drive away. The host was constantly in touch for arrival and made us feel very welcome. "
