"Quiet clean room in one of the lodges. Staff , food and breakfast all great. Walkable to the main village."

"A beautiful hotel with genuinely friendly staff the bar was intimate and relaxed, our room was very well equipped and beautifully decorated with equality furnishings and fittings we had a spacious bathroom with shower above a bath. The continental breakfast had a good selection, I especially liked their pre soaked muesli which was full of nuts and fruit and shredded apple something I will try to reproduce, we had a full cooked breakfast the following day which was a little underwhelming, it's wasn't as hot as I would have liked and was missing either toast or fried bread, which if we had known we could have made our own toast from the continental selection but as it was already getting cold would have taken too long, but nevertheless the breakfast staff were excellent and very friendly."

"Staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Food is brilliant, one member of our party has a food intolerance and they went out of their way to accommodate. Accommodation is spotless, very comfy and everything you need is provided"

"The room was welcoming and clean but could have done with extra storage space, a shelf in the bathroom and hooks on the entrance hall wall or room door to hang coats on. We appreciated the high class coffee, tea, drinking chocolate and biscuits provided. The staff were ALL friendly, smiling and very helpful. Breakfast and evening meals were excellent. Lovely dining room and a splendid array of beers on offer in the bar."
