Thank you so much for being amazing hosts during my short stay in Ponta Delgada. I had been staying at hotels up to that point & it was such a nice change of scenery. Also, it was so nice I could hold my luggage in your facility after checking out. The snacks & water were super thoughtful, I hope to come back one day!

One of the main attractions was that there was “street parking” available, however once we got to the property there isn’t any. The closest parking was a 6 minute walk away which is not what was advertised. The other main issue for me was the bathroom shower. There was a tiny piece of glass, but the shower head shot out farther than what the glass covered. So every time someone showered, the bathroom was flooded. The bed was also extremely uncomfortable, you could feel every spring in the mattress. The hotel was beautiful, the view was great, it was clean and well maintained. But these issues were pretty disappointing when you pay so much for a hotel.

A very charming hotel away from the tourist crowds and in a beautiful historic part of the city. The room was a lovely, large studio with fridge, hotplate, microwave, toaster, kettle, pod coffee maker, all the dishes, cutlery, pots and pans necessary to be independent if wished. On the 2nd floor we found it quiet. If there was noise from the nightclub across the street, with air conditioning and closed windows and shutters we barely heard it. Not a problem. Honestly, I wouldn't even look to stay anywhere else. We loved the atmosphere.

Absolutely wonderful hotel. Centrally located, beautiful spacious rooms, comfortable beds, very friendly and attentive staff, and the restaurant on the ground floor was so good we ate there every morning. I will definitely stay there again if I’m fortunate enough to make it back to Ponta Delgada. Cannot recommend Armazéns Cogumbreiro highly enough!

Stayed here for six days in early February. It was terrific. Comfortable modern room. Daily housekeeping kept everything tidy. I found it very quiet. Bathroom was great w rainshower. The windows opened and heating/air quiet and effective. Beautifully remodeled old building w lovely history. Close to grocery, city center and large harbor. Patricia was kind, helpful and non intrusive. Perfect for me.

The property and staff are amazing, very welcoming, and in an excellent location. The only downside is the bar next door. Patrons are very noisy and party until 5-6 in the morning
