I stayed at Hotel Solar do Conde and, unfortunately, the experience was not what I had hoped for. The biggest issue was the bed: the “double” was only 137 cm wide, which feels more like something from generations ago than a modern hotel standard. For a stay in 2025, it was surprisingly small and uncomfortable, especially for two adults. On a positive note, the buffet breakfast was quite nice, with a decent variety and good quality. However, a good breakfast doesn’t make up for a poor night’s sleep. Given the outdated room comfort, I cannot recommend this hotel. There are better options in the area that offer more modern amenities and a more comfortable stay.

Bien, pero con matices

El apartamento está muy bien, muy grande y espacioso. Hemos estado cómodos y en general bien. Sin embargo, la cocina está poco equipada, los utensilios son viejos y hemos tenido problemas con la vitroceramica dos dias que no funcionaba, pero nos lo solucionaron. A parte, cada dia encontrábamos dos cucarachas de medio dedo muertas boca arriba. Lo cometamos en recepción y dijeron que lo solucionarían con insecticidas, sin embargo, no cambió nada. Es una lástima porque a términos general hemos estado muy bien y el sitio está muy bien.

Estancia favorable y tranquila.

Estuvimos 7días dos personas en un bungalow individual con salón/cocina, dormitorio y baño. Todos los días entraban para hacer las camas, tirar la basura y repaso de limpieza. Zona tranquila y silenciosa. Fuimos en octubre y no usamos la piscina, pero tenía buena pinta. Dispones de barbacoa con leña para poder usar libremente en jardines comunes. Aparcamiento dentro del recinto y enfrente. El desayuno algo caro.

It’s always hard to tell from photos but this place far exceeded my hopes. The property is large, sunny, well designed and landscaped. There are old buildings that blend seamlessly with the new. The breakfast area and pool are modern, airy and relaxing. We had a bungalow which had a spacious living/dining area with a kitchen. The bathroom was large, with a walk-in shower and bidet. The only negative things I can say are the pool is shallow! Don’t dive. And the dining room where we had dinner had horrible overhead bright lighting where candlelight would have been perfect. The staff could not have been more helpful.

The grounds are gorgeous! We unfortunately didn’t get to spend much time at the property itself, but it was clean and beautifully landscaped. Our room was clean and well stocked. Included a mini bar for a fee (as with any hotel). Water and some fruit were complimentary in our room when. We checked in. The only con would be that you had to pay for coffee if you used any (typically coffee is included at hotels).

Sehr hübsche, gepflegte Anlage

Wir wohnten als Familie (2 Kinder, 14+16) in einem renovierten Bungalow. Die Anlage ist sehr schön und weitläufig. Der Bungalow (Wohnraum mit großer Schlafcouch, Sitzecke und Tisch + Schlafzimmer) war sehr ansprechend und modern eingerichtet. Das Frühstück im Haupthaus war ganz in Ordnung. Im Poolbereich gab es eine schöne Lounge und Liegen (Schirme fehlten leider). WLAN gibt es nur am Poolbereich. Dies hat uns allerdings nicht gestört. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und würden das Solar do Conde jederzeit empfehlen.

Valse informatie

We zijn nooit in Solar do Conde gearriveerd. Pas vier dagen tevoren liet het hotel weten dat er vertraging was met de verbouwing en dat alleen de eerste twee van onze vier geboekte nachten elders zouden behoeven te worden doorgebracht. Dat bleek - achteraf - op dat moment al (bewust) verkeerde informatie. Het andere hotel bleek iets goedkoper en Solar vond dat we hun atrif moesten betalen i.p.v. het goedkopere ! En dat hielden ze nog een tijdje vol ook. Gevoel voor de klant bleek niet aanwezig, wel hielden ze een betoog dat hun kosten doorliepen. Als of wij dat zouden moeten betalen !

direkt an Landstraße gelegen

Es war sehr laut. Der Kaffeebereiter funktionierte nicht, zudem sollte jeder Tee, jeder Kaffee daraus 1 Euro kosten. Im Bad funktionierte das Bidet nicht und die Dusche flutete durch einen defekten Duschkopf und eine undichte Kabine jedesmal das gesamte Bad. Im Restaurant war eine sehr sterile Atmosphäre, das servierte Wasser warm und lieblose Bedienung. Das Personal der Reption war hingegen sehr hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Wählt man einen Bungalow im Park, fällt auch das Lärmproblem weg. Insgesamt ist die Anlage optisch sehr ansprechend - nur im Detail gibt Verbesserungsbedarf.
