"We had a lake-front room and it was so beautiful and comfortable. I loved that they feature a local artist's work in the rooms and common area. I forgot to write down/take a photo of the artist's name, but hopefully someone else will and post - the paintings are fabulous. Breakfast was the best we had during our time in northern Italy. Check-in and Check-out very easy and I appreciate that when I emailed while traveling there a few hours before dinner I got a very quick response that my reservation for dinner was confirmed. Small but very clean and complete fitness room - I had it all to myself. The weather wasn't great but we still loved our visit and hopefully we'll return again!"

"Albergo Sala was a unique experience in the small village of Valbrona. It was quiet and not much to do but that's what we were looking for. The staff were excellent and very helpful and the food was wonderful. The inn is historic and has been in the family for a few hundred years! As it is off the beaten track it is advisable to have a car as public transport is infrequent and challenging and taxi service is quite expensive. Aside from that it was a great place to stay a few days."
