He called and set us up with a fantastic glass maker visit, no charge for the tour, though we did end up buying some souvenirs. I prefer staying in Murano over Venus, and this place in particular."

"We stayed here both before and after our cruise. Rooms are comfortable and clean, staff is wonderful. A huge plus for this hotel is that the train has a station right behind the hotel (we never heard it though). The trains go right in to the city of Venice, but also convenient to get to car rentals (just one stop away) which is also a train hub to go to other major cities in Italy. The daily breakfast buffet is exceptional - cost is 9 euros, but well worth it - many hot dishes, pastries, beverages. Just a warning for Americans traveling here - be sure to bring travel converters/transformers for your electrical needs. There are no USB chargers in the rooms…."
