My stay was for leisure purposes and the location was perfect for me but slightly out of town if you wanted to spend most of your time down by the sea. The separate personal access made it feel very much ones "own room" parking was secure (I took a classic car) andn the service was personal and professional. I would rate Honey lodge highly for either business or social stays and would use again.
Quaint little place and very cosy. Comfortable rooms and good selection for breakfast.
Parking can be a problem as the property is down a slope. Host very welcoming and friendly. Only downside is a fresh change of towels would have been appreciated especially after two days !
Room and toilet were very clean and comfortable. Kate was very hospitable, welcomed us with freshly baked cake and array of coffee/tea readily available in the room. Breakfast prepared by her was sumptious as well. My 3 days stay at her place has been very pleasant and nice. One small suggestion is maybe provision of a fan as the weather was hot when we were there, and so a fan would help to keep the room less stuffy. Otherwise, I am very impressed with the place and highly recommended to stay here when coming south to explore Dorset.

Kate is a wonderful hostess who was always available and gracious. The house is very comfortable and bright. The location is central for driving to numerous historical sites. The parking was tight but just took a bit of navigation, I was just happy there was parking available! I highly reccommend this property!
Honey Lodge Guest House is an excellent B&B. The room was spotless, very comfortable and well appointed and with unexpected extras such as a range of toiletries, fresh flowers from the garden, and biscuits & sweets.
Breakfast is served in the dining room which also has a lounge area for guests. Kate is a wonderful host, friendly and thoughtful. For example: I had taken my own lactose-free UHT milk and on returning to the room, she had provided a coolbag with ice blocks in.
All in all, would highly recommend staying here.
We were made very welcome with tea and scones on our arrival.
The service was excellent during our stay with many little extras such as home made biscuits.
Will definitely recommend a stay at Honey Lodge.
We highly recommend Honey Lodge. The location is ideal, being literally a minute's walk from amenities/pubs/bus in to Poole. We received a friendly welcome, the room was lovely with a comfortable bed and an en suite with shower. Everything was very clean. It had it's own entrance so you came and went as you pleased. Breakfast was 10/10 and Kate catered for every need. It really felt like a home from home, thank you very much for a wonderful stay.
Unfortunately, the purpose of our stay, a harbour boat trip, was cancelled due to rough sea! The area around is here is lovely with plenty to see and do.

This was a lovely B&B. Very neat, clean and tidy. Sooo quiet st night! I had a lovely stay
Good communication before I arrived, lovely welcome. Just nothing to criticise and I highly recommend except that I want to be able to book it again when I want to!
Best Accomadation I have ever stayed in, just perfect, really lovely welcome and attention to customer need, high quality rooms and fittings, furniture.
I booked 3 nights at Honey Lodge in November as I was visiting family and friends in the area and was made very welcome by Kate. Nothing was too much trouble. Everything was of a high standard including the breakfasts with great attention to detail. I had a quiet, ground floor room with an en suite shower which overlooked the garden.
Broadstone village is within walking distance with restaurants, shops and a leisure centre. It is also a convenient hub for visiting the historic towns of Wimborne and Blandford Forum, National Trust properties and rural Dorset. In other directions the coastal towns and beaches of Poole and Bournemouth and the Purbecks beyond are easily reached by a good road network. I will definitely book this comfortable B & B again when I am in the area.
Lovely clean B&B within walking distance of some shops and nice restaurants. Poole is a short drive away. Very comfortable stay with everything provided, superb breakfast and onsite parking.
We stayed at Honey Lodge for 2 nights in July. Kate, our host was very friendly and helpful and our room was lovely. The breakfast was very good and we were treated to some lovely melon and strawberries before our cooked breakfast. The B&B was really handy for getting into Poole and we were only 20 minutes from Wimbourne which was a beautiful town. Our bedroom was on the font of the house so It was a bit noisy with passing traffic as we had all the windows open during the very hot weather.
If you use the bus like me you will change 3 busesis over 1hour.by the car is more then half an hour..so is not true is close to the beach location is in Branstone WHAT IS PART OF POOLE NOT IN POOLE LIKE IS THE ADVERT.Also the location have no garden for the guests is a private one.
Really welcoming hosts with an eye for detail. I had a really lovely couple of nights here The room was spotless and with all the touches I would expect in a 5* hotel. It was easy to access central Poole and the surrounding countryside
