"Recently renovated historic property in stunning Windsor Park setting. Superb staff who are extremely warm and helpful - going far beyond the hospitality of good hotels. Rooms were very comfortable although it could be a bit warm (given unusually warm weather and a lack of ac, something typical in the area). The biggest disadvantage is the steep stairs to access the rooms, although the staff readily assist guests with luggage. The food at the restaurant was delicious, and the atmosphere of the outdoor patio enchanting."

"Staff are worth their weight in gold and the Canford boasts some heavy weights. Take a walk along the nearby promenade and take in the surrounding area and its wealthy residents. Food at breakfast and dinner was superb. This establishment like so many other places is a dog friendly hotel and bar. On a damp day, your nose will remind you. I tried to plug in my firestick at the back of the telly but was put off by the avalanche of dust. Bathroom window is losing the fight against the ivy growing outside. Overall a good stay but keep the pet smells at bay. "

"Such a beautiful historical hotel,went to celebrate our 10 year anniversary.The room was decorated for us.Such a lovely surprise.Balcony view was spectacular on the harbour.Outdoor pool and spa area lead to the beautiful beach.Staff so friendly.Food was top notch too.Loved it that much ,stayed over longer ."
